I don't particularly know the details of eternal life except for Jesus Christ's example to us. He is the eternal life we inherited and so he rose mind body and soul from the dead, so it is likely that those who died believing in Him will also be raised mind. body and soul like Him in the end.

I didn't say a body turning to dust was the fate of only the condemned. Instead the returning to dust of mind body and soul .I.e. the ceasing to exist or becoming nothing is.

A person who has eternal life is sleeping in the grave whereas a person who is condemned is not in the grave at all because he has ceased to exist. There is no resurrection of a such as there is no soul or mind to raise.

Jesus Christ.

When you realise that sin is sin regardless of it magnitude, then you will realise that we all are sinners. Going by this premises, if we are to be judge by our sins, chances are none of us would make it to the great beyond.
I personally believe that sin is best forgiven when the forgiveness comes from who one wrong.

I just don't get what all the brouhaha is all about. Its simple logic. Jesus died for the sins of the world. As long as you believe He is your saviour then you are free from sin. Therefore sin cannot take you to hell. There is no one who doesn't continually errs or sins. As long as you believe then you are freed from the clutches of sin. SIN CANNOT TAKE YOU TO HELL. If you don't believe that He is then by all means you are condemned and hell bound. St John says anyone who believes does not sin. Why? Because you are covered.

There are two key words there.
1. Received: This refers to when Christ was on earth physically. Some people received him to their homes while others didn't.

2. Believe: This refers to later day people who came after He has left this earth. Though they see Him not, the still believe on that name and everything that is said about Him (as recorded in the Bible).
