The north should just go their way and let southern states have their freedom.

Inside one country Governors from different regions hold meetings separately and openly disagree with each other's opinion......if this cannot tell us that Nigeria is unofficially divided I wonder what signs we need.

Of course they wouldn't.

Why Obasanjo even chose to push for Yar'Adua as successor after handing over to Shehu Shagari 28 years earlier still baffles me.

He should also have kept power in the south.

At this point, only God can help us in this country.

God bless Nigeria.
It is high time we disintegrate.

Another Northern chieftain and former Secretary General of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Elder Anthony Sani, said the outright ban on open grazing without provision of alternative measures to the plight of herders will spell doom for the country.

It is not the business of state governments to provide alternatives for herdsmen. Cattle rearing is a private business, it is not government business.

In comparison to other forms of farming, in Nigeria the profits gained from cattle rearing and trading are usually not taxed so I do not understand why government, both at the state and federal level, should provide alternatives for cattle grazing.

It is sad that in this day and age where other countries are keenly focused on solving more pressing challenges, this is what our national discourse has been reduced to, no thanks to the cattle rear in chief in aso rock and his stupid followers.

Never mind where the power goes in as much as the masses will benefit and their well beings will also reach the maximum expectation.

Good morning Southerners oh.
But how do some people think/believe that after what the North/Fulani has done under Buhari's tenure that they will agree to give power to the South so that they will do them their own back?
Sad as it is, I think that is the thinking. North is aware that this regime has done lots of harm to the unity of this country therefore, the fear of retaliation.

Fear of revenge don dey hold Fulanis

For now South has them by the balls, total southern ban of grazing of Cattles would automatically destroy Fulani militias power in Southern Nigeria

Just like year 2003 that Obasanjo a SouthSouth man defeated Buhari a core North man and 2011 that Jonathan defeated Buhari and Atiku .... 2023 would be a walkover for Southern Nigeria

Any compromise by southern Nigeria in this regard and any further rule by the north will result in Fulanization of Nigeria.

They're always on the defensive, always asserting their self-centreness, always precipitating the noxious, but false notion that they're born to rule.
As it stands,Nigeria is already polarised between the North and the South. Ideologically, it's dichotomised. We are not on the same page, as they've demonstrably shown through such gestapo utterances. It's better we go our separate ways. On a light note,I just wish some governor would develop some balls, have some gusto... I mean gather some strength and declare independence from the centre. That in itself will set in motion the inevitable break up of this lie, called Nigeria. The North only wants power for the sake of it, not to appropriate it for use for their region and people. And, sadly, at best, they only produce accidents of history.

Who do these vagabond, lawless northerners call themselves for. It is palpably clear that, from these anticident and many lawless shenanigans embacked upon by buhari and his northern criminals, that Nigeria cannot stand.

breaking news, "Currently, We Have Two Sets Of Laws In Nigeria" -

We have the law for the North and the law for the South.

In the North, terrorists are called bandits, government negotiate with them and pay them huge amount of money for their terrorism.

In the South, unarmed freedom fighters are called terrorists, government arrest them and even kill them at will.

In the North, police don’t arrest criminals or extort motorists.

In the South, police arrest innocent citizens and extort motorists.

In the North, Islamic police (Hisbah) arrest Nigerian police for drinking alcohol.

In the South, police arrest vigilantes that drink alcohol and label them criminals.

In the North, Northern youths can kill innocent Southerners and no one will arrest them.

In the South, Southern youths get arrested for attacking armed Fulani herdsmen.

How will people believe in One Nigeria with these treatments?

I think the NEF made her point with decorum, maturity and deep sense of perspective. However, the CNG in her usual characterized tone; is arrogant, unreasonable and poised for a regional provocation.

Whether the north likes it or not, the power must go to south. I love southern governors for taking this bold stand. Enough is enough.

" arguing that the presidency is a democratic office and not a rotational position."

Southern/Eastern how far?...

It's obvious the Northern has hidden agenda...

I rest my case....
Re: Northern Elders, Groups Reject Southern Governors’ Position On Power Shift by kleverley(m): 10:18am On Jul 07, 2021
This sycophants want to retain power forever, it was a rotational process in 2014 but in 2021 it isn't.
