garfield1:The Results On The INEC Results Portal are photos of the Polling-units Results-Sheets, (that is, after they must have done all the Polling-units Manipulations). .. And to me sef, those results that were uploaded to the INEC’s Portal is not complete if they wouldn't also upload all the respective Collated Results-Sheets at the various Wards, LGAs, and so on., Including the Final Collation Sheets. .. And Finally, going by the judgement of the Atiku-Vs-Buhari Tribunal-Case (2019), which abolished the use of the SCR-accreditation, it then means that there is no need doing the SCR-accreditation again, since the Law doesn't recognise it. Thus, the manipulations cannot be checked using Electronic-Transmssion if the SCR-accreditation would not be made the ONLY acceptable accreditation method. |

Kyase:Exactly.. At least, let that Election Money be shared to the people - if that be the case.... .. Rather than giving the bulk of the money to the High-ranked Electoral Officers, who now cut out chunks from the bulk and give to those ones that are assigned as field collation officers. .. .. Once a person got beaten, he goes back home and rest. |

They have looked at it critically and know it can be bypassed. Goodluck with hoping for the best! Fight for a fool proof election as the only acceptable option, period! This dubious clause inserted by the Senate will make the NCC chair person a very influential personnel in the electoral process. The independence of inec is now openly in question with this clause. 1 Like |

TheRareGem1: "Senators have passed electronic transmission of results as part of Electoral Act Amendment Bill currently being read for a 3rd time. Before INEC can transmit electronically, NCC must adjudge national coverage is adequate and secure, and National Assembly must approve. The passage of the section of the bill has caused a conflict in the chamber and many lawmakers have resorted to heated arguments over Senate President Ahmad Lawan's ruling, an opposition led by Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, and mostly PDP Senators." What kind of law is this? Before INEC can transmit electronically, NCC must adjudge national coverage is adequate and secure, and National Assembly must approve. I fault this in totality. NCC fully control by FG will say election cannot be transmitted electronically, then the electronic transfer of result is useless. 1 Like |

The pessimist were asking are these people not yet wiped out? The number is real, the masters of the art of the game will always lead the race, others will always join the queue! |

Thuraya satphone, iridium or any other satphone can provide internet connectivity anywhere in the world, both land and sea just like dstv can work anywhere in the world. So i see no reason why election results cannot be transmitted electronically. |

Coronabirus: the only way that number is real is if Boko Haram got involved in running the elections. it's open knowledge that the massive idp camps in Borno became a goldmine of votes for the Apc government 2019. People dependent on the government for clothes, feeding and security have no option. Electronic voting and transmission will definitely end many discrepancies in Nigeria's electoral system. A situation where by INEC adopts a no SCR verification no voting policy in most of the south , but accepts manual verification of voters in the North won't happen again. The government is just playing smart, what Nigeria needs is full automation of our voting process through electronic means. Not just after manually tabulations of results, then send it electronically |
