i think PDP lawmakers stage a walkout because of the clause in that Bill. The power still rest in the hands of NCC and National Assembly. Where if the independence of INEC? Nigeria, a country that so much hate to move forward. 1 Like |

squash47:Plausible as the passage may seem, the clause "where applicable" made nonsense of the while thing. In fact, it becomes a tool in the hands of the managers to gag and as well determine what happens in the areas "where applicable" and went of course also determine what happens "where not applicable". In this situation, the nay sayers still win. Guess what, in the presidential election, the north, especially the 3K States will be predominantly, "where not applicable" |

Veqtor: Exactly.. the same thing. When voting machine was introduced, they still gave room for manual voting. This was used in many rigging areas where they will simply say that the machine was not working, so they used manual voting. That manual voting is a big scam. So, that is what they will do here. They will just say there was no network to transmit results. lol 1 Like 1 Share |

Agbegbaorogboye: You are making funny submissions.this not a not or south situation,it is a party thing.the northerners in pdp voted for electronic transmission while southerners in apc voted against it.by the way,apc is not saying they dont want it,they want it but with conditions.ncc says only 43% of the country has network so it is not practical to do full transmission.if inec must go ahead with it,let ncc give the go ahead and the senate affirm it.that is what apc is saying not that apc does not want total or anything electronic transmission.let the logistics be put in place.simple. |
Re: House Of Reps Passes Electoral Amendment Bill, Adopts E-Transmission Of Results by Agbegbaorogboye: 4:45pm On Jul 16, 2021 |
garfield1:It's about stronghold not party. APC is popular in the north. PDP in the south. The PDP and by extension South want electronic transmission. The APC and by extension north do not. NCC said only 43% as at 2018 and I know for a fact that data was even wrong as at then. If you have travelled wide as I have, you will know it is a fallacy to say more than half of Nigeria does not have network. NCC can't give go ahead. NCC is not involved in network technology deployment. They only sell licenses and regulate its usage. You are buying the bullcrap by the ignorant senators. Even 2g can transmit results easily. Besides, have you seen the submission of Tambuwal about NCC giving "go ahead" INEC on electoral matters? Very apt and brilliant I think! |
