Dogs are not venomous but it doesn't mean a dog bite isn't fatal, even a human bite is deadly.

Unlike dogs and humans the odds of a snake biting you is really high.

Do you have a snake farm or any skills in raising snakes? If no, what if it wonders into your neighbor's house and cause a commotion that leads to an accident? Use your brain before you enter into a plea bargain for culpable homicide.
