saajus: Ghana was able to reach the quarterfinals, yet have no standard facilities like the rest of Europe. Brazil won the world cup 5 times with no football infrastructure in place. America and some european countries have the standard facilities yet haven't reach the semi finals before, infact there are lot of European countries with bettr facilities who haven't even gotten to the second round before. You gave example of france who won the world cup because of they had African players on their rosters, how about Germany, italy and spain who had won the world cup without african players. |

Ibkhaleel: Who do you want to blame for your lack of education and exposure in the core North? Now you are gnashing your teeth about nepotism and hate. Go to school, you no gree. Na so so cattle you go de waka upandan with. If not cattle, na to join army. Now that being a soldier has been demystified, what else do you wanna boast of? agurza:Keep quiet. How many times have you represented Nigeria outside the country?. How many northerners have you seen making the country proud abroad, the names doing the country proud abroad 99.9% of the times are Southerners. You are not even ashamed of yourself. Buhari has damaged the image of the country with his low minded nepotism, the country has become the butt of jokes, with insecurity, low standard of living, massive corruption, huge debt, inflation because incompetent & lazy & low thinking northerners are in every key positions of the economy thus leaving the economy is shambles. What can you become in this life without quota system?. You would have been worse than your cousins in Chad & Niger republic if not for quota system & nepotism. All you want to die untop Nigeria because of oil money and resources from the south. In private sector, northerners cannot survive competition and meritocracy. How many aboki are in private sector?. you daft. Can you compete with the Southerners without quota system? corrupt people. What do you contribute to the country? 2 Likes 1 Share |

dragunov: Guy you see the problem with you guys is that you are programed fools... Your attitude is disgusting A major problem the South has is how it underestimates the North. Their minders have led a majority of them to believe that the northerner is an unschooled slowpoke who only progresses through connections. Despite northerners that became billionaires by dint of hard work, intellectuals that have pushed the frontiers of scholarship, leaders that have provided impeccable administrations to great applause and politicians that rose like the colossus to dominate their environments, the average southerner still gets bamboozled – and envious – by the way the northerner dictates what goes where. But a pertinent question to ask is, why do people kick against federal character yet want a position zoned, rotated or surrendered to them? If they are as intelligent and educated as they think they are, then they should know that politics is all about bridge-building, consensus and give and take. However, in their confusion, despite their belief in the superiority of their intelligence, they take Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho as heroes. Some even believe they are comparable to Sheikh Gumi. A Methodist Bishop ridiculously said that he will stand by Kanu as long as “northerners stand by Pantami and Gumi”. A known southern columnist, too, wrote on how Kanu and Igboho were arrested while Gumi “had a slap on the wrist.” What they refuse to accept is the fact that Kanu is a terrorist in the class of Shekau. A fugitive from justice having jumped bail while standing trial in a court of competent jurisdiction. He instigated people to kill through electronic messages the way Shekau did. He calls for the Balkanisation of the country. Perhaps being a second-class British citizen, he sees Nigeria as a “zoo” and Nigerians as animals. His gullible followers, Nigerians through and through, accept being animals in a country that is a zoo. Maybe because most of his followers are those frustrated with their lives, they find solace in living in utopia. They claim they are Jews. Laughable as it was, with no historical or biological evidence to support the phantasmagoric claim, the real Jews did a DNA test to confirm their Jewishness that it is false. |

How someone can look at that list for Olympics and start talking Yoruba, Igbo, Fulani - is mindboggling. The Spirit of the Olympics is solidarity and unity. Such people need to mentally grow up. What a disgusting mentality of division to look at everything through ethnic lenses especially the Olympics. There is strength in diversity. Unity with diversity is good. Do not allow yourself to be influenced by those who benefit from chaos and putting one against the other. Japan is a country whose journey from ethnic and clan warfare to a united Nippon is something Nigeria should emulate. I am embarrassed that I opened this thread and I start reading the BS about people's origins. I am more worried that we don't have any football teams or weightlifters in these Olympics. What has happened? 2 Likes 1 Share |
