Instead of Mompha to lay low seeing what is happening to his comrades, but he is foolishly drawing attention to himself. He forgot that he has a pending case with our local dogs EFCC here in Nigeria and by the time FBI beam their search light on him, he will be an easy pickup considering his case has already been established by EFCC.

Yes, it's illegal. That's not the point. The point is that not every street guy is a fraudster. Mompha was into money laundering, not fraud. To tag someone a fraudster, they must have defrauded someone.

Street is a very long chain involving drugs, fraud, money laundering, prostitution, assassination, harassment, intimidation, bribery, match fixing, human trafficking.

I was upset when some people were calling that policeman a fraudster.

Misrepresentation falls under fraud, even if it is done by legitimate means, which is what money laundering is about.

One element of fraud is "deceit/ misrepresentation"

When you knowingly launder money to cover up its illegal source, you have committed fraud, and are thus a fraudster.
