Matthew 23 v 23;
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

You can even see that mint, anise and cummin isn’t money!

He simply missed the mark when you asked those questions earlier about the blessings Abraham and Job had even before paying tithes.

He should have seen that even before the tithe thing Abraham did. God was walking with Abraham already and his dealings were successful including the issues Abraham had with Sarah and the King in Egypt. Abraham did not pay any tithe as at then to get God's backing and show appreciation for what God did towards ensuring the king of Egypt didn't touch Sarah.
