What were you expecting before? After all it's one of the few places where merit and true federal character is allowed to have free effect.

We have to redefine the term "Northern Nigeria" for it to have any significant meaning within contemporary political discuss in Nigeria! For a very long time, we accepted without question, this nebulous idea that everything from Uturkpo to Sokoto is "The North". This is a narcissistic but fantastic lie that doesn't hold much water in the face of current happenings. There's absolutely nothing that connects an Igede man or an Idoma man to a desert loving Katsina or Zamfara man! It's ridiculous! We can not continue to accept tags and definitions handed down to us by an imperial Britain, determined to caliberate the countrys geopolitical realities to suit her imperialistic ends.

I'm just happy that despite all the atrocities from our sport commission from the doping wahala , lack of funding and low provision of kits , we still manage to have up to 4 medals .... This is proof that shows that there's lot of potentials in the country but hardly anything to move it forward.
