How To See your Watch History in TikTok

TikTok does not feature a “Watch History” button like other social media applications. However, you can request your data file from TikTok to gain access to your history. This file contains data about your TikTok account, such as your bio, comment history, followers list, login history, like list, and settings, among other things. The “Video Browsing History” list also offers a list of videos you’ve seen.

Here’s how to request your data file:

1. Open the TikTok app and go to your profile.
2. Tap “Privacy” from the three lines in the top-right corner.
3. Tap “Personalization and data.”
4. Tap “Download your data.”
5. Tap “Request data file.”
6. After receiving confirmation that the file has been requested, you will be sent to the “Download data” tab. You may check the status of your request here. For the time being, it displays “Pending,” indicating that TikTok is working on your request. The approval process normally takes about 24 hours.
7. When the file is ready, your request’s status will change to “Download” instead of “Pending.”
