We Igbos Must Mix Well by Southernigbo: 1:13pm On Aug 10, 2021
Its high time we igbos begin to mix well so that we can be well accepted allover d country. We all know that even if pdp and Apc should field igbo presidential canditates, none of them will win provided there is a non igbo candidate from any of the smaller parties.
One way of mixing is by intermarriage. There is nothing wrong if igbo guys marry fulani girls enmasse, afterall we have them all atound selling fura da nono. Igbo men can also give out their daughters to elligible fulani men. The same intermarriage should also be done with other tribes across various divide, be it with hausa girls, kanuri yoruba etc.
Its time we igbos realise that the world of their ancestors has changed, you can't achieve much by staying put in one place, you need to reach out, exchange ideas and generally be open. In the Nigeria of today, a yoruba man defeat a hausa man squarely in both kano and lagos if he can reach out and be open enough
