Keep telling yourself that.
It is hard for you to understand because actual reading is hard but listening to gossips is easier.
Imagine believing that a group formed in the 1990 represent a country founded over 300 years ago.

Why don't you worry about the fate of your terrorist infested, poverty ravaged North instead of worrying about what the person who is presently feeding you will eat in time of famine?

Hahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahahahaha.

Ndi speaking English! Why do you lots believe anyone who is concerned about jihadists infiltrating the south is a Northern Muslim?

By then, Abuja will be taken over by Islamists. All night clubs, lounges, hotels, eateries and any form of western enjoyment will be uprooted. Those Olodo southerners who built houses in the north would have to convert to Islam or forfeit them (ask Igbo business people in Borno during the late '000s).

I am here to gloat at them when the time comes. grin

MAKERFI IS NOT BMF-BOKOISWA. ORTOM AND SARAKI ARE STILL REGARDED AS NORTHERNERS. PDP CAN SETTLE WITH ANY OF THEM WITH STRONG VPS LIKE WIKE ETCETERA, BUT NEVER TAMBUWAL.

I was watching a documentary today on CNN about the Talibans capture of a major city in Afghanistan. The first thing they did was to get all girls from age 12 and above for the commanders and various members to get married to and it got me thinking. The Taliban and the various terror groups in the north all share the same ideology. No amount of weapons or super intelligence can defeat this guys. I mean the USA poured in over 20 billion dollars in Afghanistan. Sent in high end weapons, trained the Afghan troops yet they still lost the war. 20 years gone, thousands of Americans dead and the war was lost.

If a whole America couldn't defeat the Taliban what is the fate of the Nigerian army in winning the boko haram war. They are even recruited into the same army and people in the south are just sitting down. Whether people like it or not. Those guys will take over the north and when they do what happens to the south. I mean people make a lot of noise on social media but we all know southern tribes aren't used to wars or warrior like in nature compared to the north that has known and fought all kinds of wars. Even if the country divides as people want it to. Will independent southern nations have the resources to fight the terror groups in the north. With Afghanistan under taliban control it will become a training and funding ground for all forms of terror group.

I have always predicted southern Nigeria to be like congo or Liberia in the future but with what's going on in the north it might be much worst than Afghanistan and Yemen put together.
Southern Unity is sacrosanct to the impeding Doom which I am not seeing ...

If Northern Nigeria should fall which is very possible due to infiltration everywhere.... The next job is Southern Nigeria which is under huge infiltration as of now .... see the number of boys being nabbed and herdsmen activities can easily grow into insurgency......

With Tanks and Helicopters, Southern Nigeria are not trained nor prepared for wars .... Bokoharam has been fighting wars since 2011 and very hot ......

Southern Nigeria need to come together to fight terror if not .... running over is possible... Although I know Southern Nigeria will negotiate with the Western Nations but if The Insurgents also give them counter offer ....

You may never know the ways western Nations may swing ......

All in all, the future doesn't look too promising with the level of corruption and unseriousness Going on in Nigeria as a whole !!
You better change your name to Ahmadu

Its time to divide Nigeria. The political class in the north will pitch camp with islamist within 24hours against this Nigeria they are saying can't be divided when the chips are down.

There is an islamist agenda occurring in the North, amd they won't stop at the north, they will try to take the south also.

Hisbah is a form of police
ISWAP has its enforcers or police
Bandits also have enforcers too.
ISWAP and Hisbah collect a form of tax amd levies fines on Nigerian citizens
Hisbah and ISWAP run jail and detention centres
ISWAP has parallel government running in some states. Governor General, Council Head etc

ISWAP has fighters who trained in Syria and Afghanistan
Bandits have war experience from Libya, Mali and living in the Sahel

They have stockpile of arms from Libya and those looted from Nigerian Military

The critical military installation are in the north, amd they can over run these places in a day. The south has nothing because the northerners didn't trust the southerners.

Imagine ISWAP, Hisbah and Bandits joining forces to fight Nigerian Army in the north. They will over run Nigeria in 6 months.
The army is stretched thin, weary, tired and lacking both morale and equipment
Thats a whole Taliban Playbook

All this is nothing when the north controls the NASS, Judiciary and AsoRock. You couldn't even keep oil derivation percentages, you are talking of autonomous police and constitution

Oga your story is shortlived. First of Russia got her ass whooped in Afghanistan.

Second of all, USA, thoroughly dealt with Taliban, removed them from government, installed new govt etc. The next phase now is to teach Afghans to fight their own war. Which is what US would do eventually.

Thirdly, America though not invincible is a master tactician. Withdrawal from Afghanistan and subsequently allowing terrorists taking over the country would be strategic.

First, it will allow the oppressed China's Ughur region, to have direct access to a terror nation. And you know the problems in the Urghur region in China.

Secondly, Taliban can easily seize Tajikistan and Uzbekistan which are at the backyard of Russia. Bringing terrorism into China-Russia mix would be a great tool for global dominance. Sacrificing Afghanistan to achieve that aim wouldn't be a difficult decision.

Knowing that America has over 50 years experience dealing with terrorists, they have moved into the realm of using terrorists to achieve their aims. Rather than completely wiping them out. Don't forget that at the height of Iran-US crisis, there were insinuations that America wanted to activate ISIS who is arch enemy of Iran.

If the global GDP is $80tr and your country alone controls $22tr out of it, you can do a lot.

It will be very difficult for terrorists to overun the south if we remove govt interference. Because for one, they are easily identifiable compared to southern population. Secondly, the south is much smaller and less mountainous. Thirdly, we have more resources to fight a prolonged warfare than them, amongst others.

Oga seun try and see the bigger picture and see the fact that the country is irredeemable.ten years ago if anybody tell you that southerners will be killed in their own land, you will never believe it but alas it's happening.
My take is this that every reasonable southerner should support the balkanization of the country. There is no two ways about it

They weak Southerners don't know the bolded yet. By the time it dawn on them it will not just be too late but 'very too too late'. Alas even MNK and other present day secessionists would look like gods and prophets at that time.

We don't read anything outside our chemistry and Physics textbooks in the south. History and current affairs is boring to us. We are living in a world that is rapidly going crazy and many people down south are yet to get the memo.

We are too soft and comfortable. I pray our children do not pay for our docility.

You are an expert analyst. 100% correct

Only kids will believe that US with all their might, lost the war in Afghanistan without winning elsewhere. The US media is doing a good job playing the minds of pple.

Boko Haram and Islamic terrorism in Nigeria can be wiped out within 3 months if 5 things are done.

1. All captured and surrendered Boko Haram members should be executed.

2. Military commanders from Plateau, Taraba and Benue will lead the various units.

3. Foreign mercenaries should be brought in to lead attacks. Our soldiers will do clearance and hold gained ground.

4. Night attacks and ambushes are preferred. Night vision equipment should be provided. Boko rams don't have enough night vision equipment to go round. Surprise them at night and let the clearance forces finish them off at daybreak.

5. Arrest and jail all those involved in military procurement for the past 16 years. Use BVN to trace their assets and confiscate them.

Let them handle their fake and staged insecurity. Nigeria isn't a real country and therefore not worth keeping together. The problem of the north is very similar to witchcraft. They carry an inferiority complex that goes down all the way to the spirit.
Their own idea of measuring up to those they envy isn't to grow but to pull others down. That's why since 1950s they have been crying about underdevelopment but constantly rechannel the funds given to them for other less important things. They oppose simple things that can move the nation forward because they want to catch up by all means.
it's a form of mental regression and it's gradually affecting the south too.

Construction Time For All of the Walls
If all the fortified walls that were built by the different dynasties and kingdoms around northern China are included, the total length would exceed 20,000 kilometers (12,000 miles). All these walls together were completed over a period of 22 centuries. It is probably impossible to calculate how many millions of people built the Great Wall or the man hours expended.
