How I wish he was alive. I would have give a him a big hug after reading this.

Died last year Still like a dream.

Though not often, I do that anytime I visit home after staying away for long and before leaving. I also do that whenever he does something 'special' for me. My dad doesn't belong to the group of people that see emotion as weakness or a threat to masculinity but he doesn’t go out of his way to ask for hugs nevertheless.

My dad died even before I know myself. I don't even have memories of him, unless I see his photos. I just love that man I never get to know. Anything I was, I am and I am going to be, I dedicate it to my adorable father. Rest in peace,Dad.

when I escaped kidnappers/cultist den seff...he was just clinching his fist like Ronaldo that just scored a fantabulous goal as if he was the one that came to burst me out....

we love each other though...he just has a weird way of showing his love..

last month when I went for a visit

My dad? That should be about a Year ago when we last saw.

He's a fantastic daddy. My number one love. Till tomorrow, he's the one that will first wish me a happy birthday. He calls every now and then. He can call for Africa! He got me my first phone and sim. There's nothing I can't collect from him. At graduation, he got a long, gold chain waiting for me as a gift. At my wedding, I didn't do much. He did like 70% of the expenses - my aso-oke, the food, venue decorations and other stuff.
Now, he'll send yam, okra, pepper, vegetables from his farm produce.

The last time I was home, he saw hubby and I off to the motor park. I took pictures with him on the mountainous plains of our town. We hugged!

I'd hug him over and over again. Sweetest Daddy ever. My mum? She doesn't have our time, wetin concern her.
