I always recommend some particular anime for beginners...the ones easy to enjoy...not all are the best

Jujutsu Kaisen (very enjoyable)
Hunter x hunter (has one of the best written arcs "chimera ant arc" in all anime
Attack on Titan (possibly the best written anime ever, definitely best of the present generation)
Death Note (one of the best anime too)

To me these are some of the ones to start with
There are many top ones but I usually don't recommend for a start cos they might be slow paced like FMA brotherhood or niche types

Right from season 1 of AOT, Eren has been the same...he just learns and acts based on his current belief and every current revelation...
At the core he has always been the same...
He was never clearly good or bad...
He has always acted in ways and said things that we were led to believe was okay because of his circumstances and his enemies mostly being human eating monsters
He brutally murdered the robbers/kidnappers when he was a kid...we were okay with that cos he was defending himself and Mikasa
He has stated he would wipe out the titans, destroy the world etc on multiple occasions, we ignored it...
Characters like Levi have attested that he's a monster who cannot be tamed right from s1
Reiner in S2 stated that out of everyone in the world, Eren was the last person he wanted to have the coordinate cos he knew the kind of person he was...we still ignored it
...he has always been one who's solution to problems is to completely eliminate that problem...it was Titans then...now it's humans...
Now in season 4, the same words and acts he did in season 1-3 now carry a different meaning to us cos we have seen how he acts in a very different circumstance...
Because of this, no one could predict Eren being the main villain

Eren Yeager is one of the best written characters in fiction...at least from the current 87 episodes of the show...

This is because apart from the acts he has done...Marley runs blood tests consistently and Eldians were forced to wear arm bands...
These factors misdirects us to believe Kruger was nothing more than another evil Marlian soldier

Now of course that is a much minor twist compared to the major twists in s4 or s3

A masterpiece, the story , the characters, light yagami, L. This is an absolutely fantastic anime , emotional rollercoaster, was light justified?, I loved every piece of up and down, the near misses, the 'almosts', everything.
