Please lets be very truthful. Everything is recorded, even at the point of entry. Some years back at the point of entry, I overheard one of the entry officers was grilling a Nigerian woman. He asked how long she would be staying and she said one month and the officer said thats what you said the last time and you stayed 5months! He got that I believe from the computer in front of him. I don't know how it ended but I learnt a lesson from that.

Also if per chance you are put aside for extra scrutiny, your phone will be collected and checked and supposed you have lied that you don't have any relative there, your phone will expose you as a liar.
But then there are relatives that you may have in the UK that you don't relate with, the answer is still yes I have relations here but I do not relate with him/her and he or she does not even know that am coming to the UK and I don't want him/ her to know. There's no law that says you must have a cordial relationship with all your relations!

It is good to say the truth always but the question on having a relation is confusing in the visa application. My brother and my sister are my relations but they were not listed on the application as qualifying for what they termed relations. Why should one then say yes when they're rather listing spouse, partner, grandparents, grandchildren, spouse/partner of your child, etc. Or am I the only one that saw that?

@justwise and other gurus in the house, pls I need help.
I have been trying to book an appointment on the tls website, but I am not able to even though I am paying for Flexi appointment of the Premium lounge. The dates all have sold on them. The earliest date is 6th October, and it's blank, I cannot click on it.
Can I present at tls Ikeja with this stage of my application, with no date booked?
How do I go about uploading my documents on the site?
Pls I really need help.

Clicked on any of those dates for super priority and cancel it back ! It will take you to checkout and you will be able to pay. I will suggest you do walk in instead after being able to pay

I have been confused for a while now when I saw some posts from people whose spouse has already gotten visa been rejected. For me , my wife already had gotten hers 2 weeks ago but I and the spouse did not apply together. We intend to apply in the coming weeks. What could be the reason for the rejection? Is there anything they didn’t do well? For us we wrote in my wife application that I will be applying alongside the kids and that the POF for ours will be in my account. Should we go ahead and apply or wait for her to enter Uk first before applying ? Who has ever applied after his spouse for a visa and got visa

This is not true, so far your POF will accommodate you and you not using your wife funds then you’re good to go. Moving funds from your wife account to your account might be an issue also, cause your wife might be asked to re-print her SOA used to get visa even after the visas has been issued. The best option is just have more funds enough to accommodate yourself , your wife and ur baby..

Don't give unsolicited info, if its not there then don't bother.
I have never filled the tier4 visa application but there is space to list siblings in the Visit visa application.

Lagos or Abuja?
Applicant or dependant?

Hello
I applied ( Standard ) on 20/8
on 2/9 i received this Email
Could you please let e know what is this mean ..

this email is to notify you that your UK visa application has been received at the British Embassy (AMMAN) and will now be prepared for assessment by an Entry Clearance Officer.

Our published service standards say that we will process all non-settlement applications within 15 working days and all settlement applications within 60 working days, both from the date you attended your appointment at the Visa Application Centre.

If you have purchased the Priority service, we aim to process Priority non-settlement applications within 5 working days from the date that you attended your appointment at the Visa Application Centre, and all Priority settlement applications within 15 working days of your appointment.

We are currently meeting our service standards and there are no forecasted delays to our service.

Please note: We strongly recommend that you do not book a flight to the UK until your visa application has been approved and you have collected your passport. We do not accept responsibility for any financial loss incurred as a result of delays in processing applications and we will not fast-track applications solely because of travel plans.

Once a decision has been made on your application we will email you to let you know. You will then be contacted by the Visa Application Centre with instructions on how to collect your documents. Please do not go to the Visa Application Centre before they have contacted you.

In some circumstances, applications require further assessment which can take longer than our published customer service standards. If your application is going to take longer than expected we will let you know.

We would be grateful if you could keep your correspondence to a minimum during the consideration process. If you need to contact us or would like to track the progress of your application, you can do so via our International Enquiry Service at www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-outside-u

If you did biometrics on Friday your application was probably received by dmc on Tuesday, this is because last Monday was a bank holiday in the UK. Keep calm and be positive.

I did my biometrics on Monday and it wasn't untill Tuesday that the dmc received it. I'm a first time applicant too

Oh nice, I have chosen another school tho

Coolcube:

I applied August 11. I hope to get a positive response this week as well. Maybe we go gather together for Aberdeen.

I have got applications elsewhere, but the course I put in at RGU is my topmost priority. So if I get it, chances are high that I go for it.

Exactly, The question is not straightforward. They listed other relations omitting blood relative live father, mother brother and sister. So if one has the people in the UK, it will be very confusing to say YES.

Nothing to worry about about. They seeking your consent to share your information with UKVI. They will also help you out in case of any delay when you apply for visa. However,if you have applied for UK visa before, make sure that all the questions that you filled were correct, otherwise dont give that consent.
