What did Jesus say about the rich man and the camel?
Am waiting for you to come back to quote the bible and give us your own interpretations,

mazaje:

Do you really believe in the words of Jesus? I thought Jesus said that it is easier for the camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. .

A rich man that is unsaved is different from a rich man that is a believer. A rich man in God use his money to serve God,but a rich man in the world use his money for fleshly things. Jesus was not against riches . He is against greed. He is against the inability to give out what you have. Such a man is rich towards himself but not rich towards God.

He gave a parable of the end of such a person and how he died by his greed in Luke 12

Luke 12:21
. . . So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

To be rich towards God is by liberality . So it is clear that God is not against riches and prosperity, he has given all things for our enjoyment but he doesn't want us to set our hearts on those things by putting trust in them. That will be idolatry. He wants us rather to bless others with our riches,

1 Timothy 6:17-18
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; 18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

. . .Jesus repeatedly told his disciples to sell all they had give to the poor and follow him? Where in the Bible does Jesus tell his follower that they will be super rich?. . . . .

Mark 10:29-30
29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

The persecution part is what every prospering ministers are seeing now.

In this article we will talk about who is the richest pastor in Nigeria and their net worth. Global media company, focusing on business, investment, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, and lifestyle, Forbes in a recent rating revealed pastors from Nigeria topping the World’s Richest Pastors list. So, whoever thought pastors
are not rich should have a rethink. Gone are the days when people believe that pastors are poor and their reward is in heaven.
