This place isn't flooded that much, there is a town in Anambra called "Atani" in ogbaru local government that is where the real flood happens. The flood that happens yearly there is more than I have seen in any other part of Nigeria. Anyone that knows Anambra well will confirm this. 7 Likes 3 Shares |

I can comfortably posit that Abia state had the worst government in Nigeria... its just as simple as that. Yet sycophants keep shouting kinetic governor upandan... its so appalling That's why I'd always insist that before you go on chanting the sessional anthem... LOOK INWARDS!!! And Ask yourself if you're doing fine...@Nnamdikanu 1 Like |

Juliusmalema:foolishness will definitely end up killing you and your fellow bigots, everyone in this nation is suffering from the nemesis of failed leadership including you yet, you are pointing fingers at those who are suffering because you are not from the same tribe while you yourself lives in one of the craziest ghettos in town, yet it is people like you that will rather prefer to be a gun runner for a politician than joining those who are raising up their voice against bad governance. 1 Like 1 Share |

Juliusmalema:just that hate has clouded your reasoning, you should have known it's raining season and flood is bound to happen once it rains due so many factors. Same happens even in Lagos . Not making excuses for the governor , just a reminder that flood happens everywhere so there is no point abusing Igbo people . Maybe someday you will learn how to reason |

They will never blame their leaders and hold them accountable but willl be focussing on Buhari as if he is their governor. That alone makes me sick on how a bunch of people will sleep and put their head in thesame place. If a road becomes bad in Lagos or elsewhere, people are sure to call the name of their governors but No.....na Buhari this, Buhari that. Hold ur governors accountable first and then other things will follow. Still none of this governors are being owed any money from Abuja oooo. They will never see that. Anybody can agitate for freedom, it's good. But don't leave the fundamentals. 4 Likes 1 Share |

A 2020 Premium Times article says it all. "At the entrance of Ngwa Road Market in the heart of Aba in Abia State, an unperturbed Chika Mba sat gently in the midst of broken bottles, used plastic, dirty nylons, and rags. As the stench of waste and rubbish engulfed the atmosphere, Chika, a 34-year-old trader, moved around to call on passers-by for patronage. Beside him stood other traders and customers, all haggling prices among themselves. If they found the offensive smell oozing out of their surrounding unpalatable, they did not show it in their countenances. As seconds turned into minutes and hours, rather slowly, Chika and other customers and traders alike laughed, ate, drank and haggled prices of different clothing materials amidst the offensive odour. He would soon dance around the dirt with reckless abandon, to the delight of passers-by and fellow traders. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/features-and-interviews/375805-despite-thriving-businesses-aba-remains-a-pigsty.html 1 Like

Rilwayne001:One flood in one market in a state as big as Abia, all of you are convulsing... Imagine all the slums in Ibadan and decadence in Ogbomosho. Even in a former federal capital state like Lagos, how are areas like Makoko, Ajegunle, Iwaya fairing? What are the markets like? what about flooding?... If the people were not putting the govt on blast, these videos will not surface in the first place. Aba is not even the state's capital, to put the whole thing into context and yet the people are making these videos viral so that the govt can be embarrassed and fix it. Embarrassing the govt in this way is their own strategy to fix things, do not think for a second that most cities in Nigeria is half as good as Aba. |
