APC will definitely use this aircraf landing as an issue for electoral advantage in 2024. And this country is the only geographical area where such an insanity is celebrated as a big achievement.

Can't the Governor work in getting their own Airline like Akwa Air than patronising mediocrity

You think owning airline comes cheap. Airline business is capital intensive. And if not managed properly could go aground within a twinkle of an eye. Ondo state do not have the capacity to delve into that arena.

This is a new airline by a very young entrepreneur, it will be a boost for the state and the airline itself... it's a good move for them, atleast airpeace and ibom air will face little competition.
But this aircraft looks old, I'm sure the young man needs more fund in getting more planes.

Once it's owned and managed by Nigerians, it will not last long before it will end. Just forget it...

Ibom Air is better. You won't know until you fly the two airlines

But the safest airline is Arik

Leave airline business alone, if the market demands it, that industry will grow on it's own, Nigerian government always investing in the wrong things

You people from Abia State are always too quick to rubbish what other states are doing, even when your state is so terribly backward.

No it’s an ATR 72-600 a modern turbo prop jet. They will face competition from Airpeace .
Air peace operates a jet on the route which can take you from akure to Lagos in 30-35 minutes whereas green Africa turboprops will take like an hour. Secondly the turboprops flies below the cloud (17000-20000ft above sea level ) whereas that Airpeace embraer jet flies at 28000 ft . Thus passengers who are scared of turbulent flights may prefer a jet.
On the other hand the green Africa turbo prop is cheaper to operate thus we can all get cheaper tickets with them than air peace

Where in that writeup is it written that the Ondo State Government is the one that's investing on the airline?

The question !

WHY CAN'T NIGERIA OPERATE A NATIONAL CARRIER?

Many african countries like Kenya, Ethiopia and even Rwanda has a national carrier.
