Applications are invited from eligibility African youths to apply for The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa B.I.S (Business. Idea. Startup) Grant. 

The B.I.S Grant awards $25,000 to Africans with innovative ideas, brilliant startups and growing businesses.  Whether it's just an idea or an established business, the B.I.S Grant programme is structured to assist you access funds to start-up your dream business or grow your existing business.

Eligibility Criteria
Age: Applicant must be above the age of 16 years and below 65 years.
Citizenship: Applicant must be a bona fide citizen of an African country.
Education: Applicant must have at least completed secondary or high school education.
Conferencing Tool: Applicant must have a close-by device to initiate a video conferencing call.

How to Apply
* Goto the Application portal and click on Apply Now
* Choose between 'Inceptor' and 'Custodian'. An inceptor describes a person who has an idea, concept or plan but is yet to execute it into business. A custodian describes a person who manages an existing startup or business.
* Fill the form accurately and expect a feedback within 4-5 working days.
* Participants with positive feedback should make adequate preparations for an online interview.

No sin in signing up since it doesn't cost anything,have signed up though

They are Yet to send any message, have also applied.

It's a scam. the website was registered in July

Please can somebody tell us more about the effect of this on we that have already registered,
I was already at the stage of summiting my document before the site clash,.
So what the side effect to that we/I can top up my security level against any cyber criminals.

the thing just week me... Enh... This over a Month now.... This thing Na pure scam
.. Just like that Facebook grand we applied..

For few of us that are selected, we just finished a webinar and wrote our 30 minutes exam. Good luck!

The online exam was cool and straight forward. Basically about your business and plans for the community.

I have also heard from them that I won the grant. I pray it's real.... will keep playing with them till we see hw it ends.

That website was built for the purpose of application and it has been shut down. It is a red flag though. Let's see how it will end.
