What you are experiencing is called twitching of the eyelid and it is usually caused by excessive consumption of highly caffeinated drinks such any Biggi flavour - cola, apple, orange etc..,(this was the cause in my own case). I experienced it very early last year and it was very scary because I couldn't concentrate on anything and I was losing confidence in myself because I could not hold a serious conversation for fifteen minutes without blinking my eyes like a crime suspect. My place of work, at some point had a large supply of Biggi soft drink of different flavour and I was taking at least two bottles per week consistently for about 4 weeks. The next thing I saw was constant vibration on my left eyelid. I had to visit a doctor and stop the consumption of those drinks.

Some of these soft drinks manufacturers are too greedy, that's why they fill their products with lots of caffeine just to make consumers addicted to the product while they make more sales and profit at the detriment of the people's health.
I no dey near those sweet flavoured drinks again as I don learn my lesson.

It could be some nutrient deficiency.

Natural. Ageing. Getting tired. you are probably approaching 40. Increase palm oil, carrot or any natural vitamin A and see the symptom disappear in a week or two.

Stay away from bright LCD screens like your computer, TV and phone for 3 days.

When you return to them, dim down the brightness to the lowest possible for you to see content on the screen.
