You must be a real niggar....it baffles me how people are fast to condemn Africans and Nigeria not knowing that Americans are worse when it comes to internet fraud
Most of the aza used by azamen are owned by even foreigners as far as you will give them their percentage

Good for you!

Your generation glorify internet fraudsters and treat them as kings then you have the nerve to be sad that they are being profiled.

Fix your rotten mentality first before you muster the audacity to cry.

Next to be profiled will be Nigerian pornstars because they are fast overtaking American pornstars.

Nonsense.

These people will do anything for money as if we are the only country in the world with poor people. Madness

Yes I know this is bad but in another country and years to come someone will talk/study America's failure/retreat from Afghanistan. This things are normal so let's not make it look peculiar to Nigeria. For example, it rains and there is flood in Lagos and everyone keeps shouting, but it happens in other countries too including the United States of America.

What are Americans type-cast and pre-judged as?

Entitled, spoiled, socially/morally-loose, uncouth and geographically/culturally challenged etc. It's what I hear the most.

Any stereotype/type-cast is based on "some" form of truth....no doubt.
The problem is when the overwhelming majority get labeled in one broad swoop....and one fails to get to know a person individually.

No big deal. Your own good deeds and character will speak well for Nigeria and Nigerians.

I'm talking from experience.

This is not a good reputation for our national well-being.
Foreign investors might afterwards be skeptical about fostering FDI in Nigeria thereby leading to more unemployment-related issues.
The international misperception about Nigeria and Nigerians is another point of concern. In 2019, I wrote about all these in the NETISM theory, and if proactive care is not taken today, the future stakes might be full of uncertainty.

It sucks...

It is a Nigerian scam because scammers are celebrated and enjoy huge support from majority of the populace.
Anytime someone tries to draw attention to these fraudsters, they will be confronted by angry
defenders with curses and insults.

The issue of Nigerian being called a scammer headquarters of the world should not be a surprise to you.l was about to buy a car from a German in Hamburg many years ago. While l was in his house discussing,he asked me where in Africa is my country. I told him NIGERIA. Hmm,he responded, please do not come here again. Whereas he had earlier promised to have a kind of interactive time with me.Such is the shame we inherited from the evil bedeviled our Nation. May God deliver us.
