A protest against the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB was held today at the National Assembly in Abuja.

A group of men and women carrying placards with inscriptions against the Proscribed pro-secession group were seen in front of the assembly complex on Tuesday afternoon.

POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that the protest was organized by one Chukwuka Ofoegbu popularly known as 'ijelespeaks'.

Some of the protesters were seen carrying placards that read; "Say No to IPOB and their Terrorism", "How is burning WAEC Examination materials going to give you Biafra?" etc.

The protesters also attacked Abia Senator, Enyinnaya Abaribe over his reported support for the group and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu. Photos below;

Ipob have finally lost it grin grin grin

THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPING WITHIN IPOB.......
-Kanu's family are against the sit at home in order to persuade FG to release their son or at least shift all concentrations and actions to release kanu
- the order factions are more interested in continuing the fight irrespective of what happens to kanu since he was earlier shouting biafra or death.they feel kanu is just one of the many scarifice that must be made.(but kanu family is not ready to lose their son and are only here comfortable with orders dieing not their immediate family).
I SEE IPOB SPLITTING INTO TWO with clash and bloody fighting. It's only a matter of time........ grin.
pls continue to blame dss ,army, police etc.
The sit at home is counter productive and only favours buhari since it begins and ends within ndigbo.
Igbos are about to know what it feels like to live in fear and suffering at the hands of your own people.(ask borno and zamfara) cool

Paid activist.
Why not take the protest to Onitsha, Aba, ọrụ and Enugu.

In as much most of us don't support this Sit at home and IPOB has openly cancel and denied enforcing of sit at home.

The question is now, who are the people creating problem in the name of sit at home?
Why are the governors and leaders of south easterners silent over this issue?

We all know the tactics government always use in to solve this kind of problem. Divide and rule.
They may not really be silent. They maybe working underground to create division.

It happened during end SARS protest. It happy during and after Biafran war and they will keep using this effective tactics.

The problem the East is having is leadership void

The politicians elected to represent the people once elected, become disconnected from the people and will channel all their effort to being in good terms with the North than speaking up for the electorate

Take for example Umahi telling Buhari that he is a blessing to Nigeria

Supreme Court governor trying to rename Imo State University to Abba kyari University and now Buhari University

When all the Southern states are supporting state collection of VAT, the same Umahi is kicking against it

These are void IPOB is filling but may sometimes not approach it in the best ways

Now some idiot mobilised oyher idiots with promise of 2k to protest against IPOB when the main issue they are agitating for is not yet addressed

Nigeria has three major ethnic groups and two out of the three are agitation for separation, but we would rather shut our eyes and ears to the cause of the problem and be addressing the effects of such problems

This protest would've made more sense in Aba, Owerri or even Onitsha, not in Abuja grin

The people you are protesting against are in d East, take d fight to them stop constituting nuisance here and attack Honourable Senator Abaribe.

I wish ipob don't shift ground and maintain the Monday sit at home order. It is already losing traction naturally. I was in Awka yesterday and even went to bank with public transport. I just want it to be slowly rejected by the people, they should not save face at all

This looks like that Igbo smoking drunk, Ijelespeaks.. who gave him money?
Ijelespeaks is a very greedy fellow, you received a lot of money to bring enough people for this protest only to come with 5 people you paid 1k and pocket the rest.

Find something for the other hungry boys there o
