The general overseer of Resurrection Praise Ministry, Archbishop Samson Mustapha Benjamin has taken a new dimension in his protest against bad governance by walking inside a large body of stagnant water in Satelite Town, Lagos to protest against bad roads.
The man of God made this demonstration today Sunday, September 26, 2021 after his church service in the presence of several populace of Lagos.

During his outcry, He explained that the masses are suffering under the present administration and infrastructures is one of the major bone of contention. He alighted that Satelite Town has the biggest barracks and the Central Bank Of Nigeria head office yet the roads are very bad.
Archbishop Benjamin stated that his public outcry is a divine mandate, while revealing that he hasn’t eaten any food cooked on fire or any pleasant food in the last two years and 11 days. He made it known that his fast will be broken today and that the message God has for the government is that they should listen to the yearnings of the people, take care of the downtrodden because the Lord is angry with them.

‘’ The nation is in a terrible crisis, people in power seem not to be doing anything. The truth is God is already speaking to the leaders through me, if they don’t go back to do the things the citizens are in need of, God is not happy with them. This nation need serious intervention. When we have roads like this, not only in Lagos alone yet people are talking about 2023 when you have not met the need of the people all these while, this is just a case of misplaced priority. The leaders should not take the people for granted’’

While answering question on the reason behind fasting for over two years, He cited God’s direction as the main reason, while explaining that it was needed to avert the dangers that would have befallen Africa and Nigeria.

‘’Before the advent of Covid-19, God spoke to me that there will be a man-made disaster that will happen but someone has to stand in gap for him to intervene. This was before September 15 2019 then I took it upon myself to begin the fasting and prayer for Africa and Nigeria in particular. By 31st of December, the WHO announced the covid19 as a Pandemic. This is one of the things that moved me’’

‘’It’s been God’s grace, it’s not been all rosy because this is not what a man can do by his strength, you have to depend on God. It’s by his grace that I have been able to stay without food cooked by fire or any pleasant food for two years and 11 days.’’
Talking on the outcome of this spiritual journey, Archbishop Benjamin noted that God took control of the Covid-19 pandemic despite the fact that it was targeted at Africa but there were no so much casualties like we have in other continents. He also explained that the prayers he made for the continent and Nigeria has made insecurity to be under control

‘’Of course, we can see from the beginning, the Covid-19 was targeted on African continent but we have a little casualty compared to other continents. This is because God intervened, he is still intervening up till this moment. In the area of the nation, we can see the problem of insecurity, banditry but all of these somehow is under God’s control, all these will come to an end because the greatest evil has been averted through the spiritual journey’’

Furthermore, He frowned against the enforcement of Covid-19 vaccine on Nigerians, making it known that it is irrelevant and unnecessary.

‘’This is actually not the right thing to do. Anything you force people to take is bad, if it is good leave it to the instinct of the people. There is a lot of confusion all over the world regarding it. If news is what is to go by, the Supreme Court in the US has allowed the use of separate five drugs for Covid-19 which means the vaccine is no longer needed. When you take a vaccine, it is to stop something from happening but they tell you that if you take the vaccine, you can still be infected, you can still infect someone, and the only thing is you must take it. It is just a conspiracy. It is not right. How are you going to force people if the news going round is true that the UK came up and said if you are vaccinated in Africa, South America and some other continents, you will be treated as unvaccinated when you arrive UK, then what is the need? Allow the people to make their choice, these one that there won’t be salaries if you don’t take it is not relevant. Don’t force people to take Covid-19 vaccine, compulsory vaccination is against human right’’

God did not send anyone out to protest in His name. You might think He is saying the truth but what that man does, by invoking the name of God in this, is insult God and suggesting that the lies he spews is of God and His teachings and commandments to us. undecided

This is why I said you've set out to cause disunity in Christianity. Where there's little or no fault, you'll make sure you pay close attention just to ridicule pastors or at least those who claim to be. Someone is protesting for a good cause, you left the main message and focused on something else. Doesn't this reveal your intentions here?

The moment the man made the decision to drag God's name into the mock, he destroyed anything reasonable thing he had to say. undecided

Pay attention..! undecided

Before man and the things of men, for me, comes God. I don't support anyone who believes it OK to drag God's name in the mud, no matter how noble the cause would have otherwise been. undecided
