Why Do People Sleep In Public Transport? by Drone95(m): 1:28pm On Sep 27, 2021 |
Hello Nlanders, It's baffles me when I see people sleeping deeply inside public transport just 5 to 10 minutes after the car or bus moved.Does it indicate sleep disorder or those people didn't have enough sleep in their home.? 9 Likes |

Exhaustion, you don't expect some one that live in Sango and work on highland to be having a good morning or night sleep inside his house, most people wake as early as 4am just to reach work on time and probably reach home very late at night and still prepare things against work maybe get to sleep by 11am or so. 187 Likes 10 Shares |

Youre a neuro boy and still don't know? Anyways ..sleep is a way for the body to refresh the brain ..and some people easily get tired more than others which might be dependent on diet or genetics .. That is to say people that easily sleep are either tired, or they have finished a heavy meal or their body is just wired that way 38 Likes 1 Share |

If you live in a city like Lagos where people sleep by 12 midnight and wake up by 3am everyday, you won't be asking this question 190 Likes 12 Shares |

If you've worked in Lagos, you'll understand... I still remember when i was still working on the Island. Commuting from Ejigbo to Lekki 6 times every week. Waking up by 4am just to beat the traffic and getting home by 10pm nitori 50k Salary. Back to your question, fatigue and stress is the major cause of this. 78 Likes 3 Shares |

It's seems we are running out of questions on NL. Unless you don't reside here in Lagos... The stress and hustling at work is enough to make a grown man fall asleep at any given oppurtunity. Imagine those on the road now going to work dey will reach by 8 or 9 then start work almost immediately. By 5 - 5:30pm again they will start hustling for bus and you expect them not to sleep at the slightest given oppurtunity? 32 Likes 1 Share |

When you have too many things to worry about. Bills to much, children, family, food, wife, wahala. You will surely have less night sleep and many thoughts. When you have to leave your house 5am to resume 9am work, you definitely need to wake as early as 3-4am. Tell me why you no go sleep for inside bus. Someone is sleeping right now. Check beside you if you are in a public bus. 8 Likes |

You don't know where they are coming from.... You also don't know what they are going through.... When you get exhausted to a point, sleep will come involuntarily anywhere you are, whatever you are doing, it's natural 3 Likes |
