The post went viral and the screenshot was repeatedly quoted by many Nigerians.


But checks on his FB hours later showed that Cyril had deleted the post.

He was no longer announcing his brother’s death as his page as it was filled with messages augmenting the political campaign of YPP governorship candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.

The removal of the post also came as IPOB issued a statement exculpating its members from the killing.

P.M. News asked Cyril why he removed the post:


“I was not on the spot to accuse any one. Let us wait for police investigations,” he responded.

Police speak on tragic murder
Well, the police had also issued a statement not making any specific accusation.

The statement blamed “unknown gunmen” for the dastardly killing in Nkpor Anambra state.

So Ipob haters he has removed the post and debunked it - No evidence - No facts - Not Ipob

The sensible thing to do.
But IPOB have created an environment where anyone can commit such crimes and pin it on them. Their activities are not so different from those they are fighting. How do you justify killing your own people?

Our forebears who fought the war regretted every bit of it, yet our generation that know little or nothing about it carry am for head. The history of the Biafra war, only very little know the truth and intricacies that played out, but too many are discussing and saying things they know nothing about.

Once non-state actors start arming themselves, some miscreants(mostly sympathetic to the NS-A) will take advantage of that to cause mayhem knowing that the N-SA will be blamed. I believe he must have been killed by such miscreants who prolly saw the vehicle he was in and thought he was a political player. Miscreants enforcing the "No election in Biafra land" are suspects. They may not be IPOB/ESN card carrying members but based their actions on IPOB's directives.
