Insulting Nigeria on independence Day for not being like USA or Dubai is like insulting your father on his birthday for not being as rich as Dangote-
equating the govt to a man and the current situation makes the govt a rapist govt that raped somebody's mum.

Because the middle man will not depend only on his commodities to live. You understand it? He will buy other stuffs that he needs which maybe imported with the high forex. Tv, shoes, jeans, T shirts, cooking utensils, cars, chairs, .. he will pay for rising electric power and higher cooking gas and transport stuff through bad roads at higher costs. His landlord might also be an importer! The realization that the basics he needs to function effectively and take good care of his family are not going to come cheap helps to force him mark up the selling prices of his goods just to make ends meet! Simple economics. But simple things are too hard to grasp for you bunch of Buhari headless chickens..

It has nothing to do with the garbage you wrote down.

The middle men are unionized and engage in price fixing. Simple as abc

[s]Of course the senile demented oldie is always right. I don't expect a young person that has mortgaged his brains for peanuts to think otherwise. As naira is depreciating which implies more naira from oil sales, why is fuel pump price not decreasing.

Don't bother answering, ode[/s]

What garbage have you written down

If you had reasonable surplus supplies, you won't have some inconsequential unions dictating national price for goods across board. Economic illiterates everywhere..

Indeed....is Buhari not right that middlemen are the ones increasing the cost of goods and services in Nigeria because of greed?

More than likely he is correct... The greed of the average Nigerian is renown and without question.

However, that is beside my point...

I have never seen you dispute or disavow or even disagree with a single Buhari's decision! I may be wrong anyway.

He will never take responsibility for his failure.

The era of blaming Goodluck Jonathan has passed.

It's unfortunate that our president has refused to accept responsibility for the hike in food prices.

If you can't factor the net effects of insecurity, high costs of transportation, high costs of labour and forex on rising inflation in the country, especially on the costs of foodstuffs, then you're dense beyond belief.. To put things into proper perspective; a barrow pusher in any market in this country can deduce these facts faster than you. You still can't see you have a problem?

Many of his decisions both economically and politically are grounded and bases on present reality of Nigeria but tribalistic approaches by his opponents won't allow most people to see the big picture.

Can you list all the policies of Buhari that you disagree with?

Buhari is right. A radio program some days back revealed some of the truth. A warehouse full of beans comprehensible destroyed by insects because the owners decided to hoard and hedge against current prices.

Blames! blames! every time. Even at 61, he still blames his ancestors for his inability to 'impregnate' Nigeria. That is why the country has not been able to bring forth all that is deposited in her.

Buhari always blame middle men.
For those that don't understand who the middle men are, they are Igbo businessesmen and Women who dominate the retail business
that's one of the few vocabulary the dullard knows.
