When Trump violated Twitter rules after the election, his accounts were banned but the POTUS account was left active. Muhammadu Buhari's account is not the official account of Nigeria's President office hence no preference is required.

Twitter deleting the said picture shows they don't condone double standards like a government that was quick to send a flight to Benin yet couldn't release a police officer to the USA.
