Every thing always sound problematic to unity Beggars
Hope you are with your gun in the bushes with ESN, otherwise thunder go fire you...cos if you don't want unity, you should be fighting war. Lazy weak keypad war advocate. War will reach your family and doorstep soon.

No one visits East except Easterners, you all should relocate to your Biafra and start the war, we are tired of your dumb noise on Nairaland.

It is not a problem. It is solidarity.

Solidarity my foot. without fear of unknown, 70% of people would have been going to work.

One of the principal stated it clearly " ... We don't want to risk the life of any student" , how is that a statement of solidarity?

That's cool. Banks and government institutions should start working on weekends too. In fact, the ideal thing is take all Monday activities to Saturday. There shouldn't be room for lapses.
Ofcourse many Banks have started working on Saturdays. My sister that works in Bank told me so

If you go through my posts, you will see clearly that am not in support of abokis either, igbos and abokis are very similar...both have terrorists groups in their domains, both compete to kill the highest numbers of people in their regions, and destroy the most public facilities, maybe it's because aboki men in the military bore many Igbo babies, especially during the biafra war grin
Abokis are your daddies grin

[s]the same people that cannot do without going to Lagos are now calling people that stays and feed in their houses unity beggers?
Nigeria was on regional government but an Igbo man brought the unity government. Now who is the unity begger.
Northerners don't go to your region
Yoruba don't go to your region
Niger Delta don't go to your region.
The Igbo man is in the north begging for ordinary water ( Nyam miri) that was the reason why up to now an Igbo man is known as Nyamiri in the north.
Go to every parts of Yoruba land you will see Igbo that are being accommodated by the Yorubas.
Go to the Niger Delta you will see the igbos carrying out their various criminal activities which they are known for.
Secession cannot happen in nairaland, if you really want to be separated from Nigeria consult your national assembly members.
If you want to be separated from Nigeria why then are you clamouring for Nigeria president?
The real unity beger is the Igbo tribe[/s].

There's nothing like satanic propaganda! There's nothing wrong in working on saturdays just to make up for mondays.
Re: Sit-At-Home: Private Schools Turn Saturdays To Working Days In Enugu by warlordd(m): 4:20pm On Oct 16, 2021
Very good move! Some mischievous workers who have secretly being supporting "monday sit at home" because they know they must be paid their full salary despite not working on mondays will not like this but I think Banks and other institutions should emulate this and covert their mondays to saturdays. People can't be collecting full salary when they've not worked for it.
Re: Sit-At-Home: Private Schools Turn Saturdays To Working Days In Enugu by Yankee101: 4:22pm On Oct 16, 2021
I think schools are 8am to 1pm.

After 1pm is private lessons which is optional

Parents actually take advantage of this as daycare so they pick the kids up after work

Extend classes by one extra hour to cover the extra day

A standard school should provide lunch (heck even government schools do so today) and breaks in between periods

This is better than taking an entire day off

The teachers don't like this intrusion

Some parents love it as a daycare

But in reality the kids need 2 clear days for other out of class activities and to bond with their parents

Angelfrost:

That makes no sense...

These are kids for Pete's sake! They already spend a shocking length of time in school as it stands.

Abi you don't know some kids in private schools spend more time at school than their fathers even spend at work?!! Do some research please.

It wasn't so when we were younger... The worse part is that we were not less educated. Matter of fact, the quality of education has actually deteriorated these days across board!!!... So, why the lengthy spells at schools?!!
