Emergingnation:Hope you are with your gun in the bushes with ESN, otherwise thunder go fire you...cos if you don't want unity, you should be fighting war. Lazy weak keypad war advocate. War will reach your family and doorstep soon. No one visits East except Easterners, you all should relocate to your Biafra and start the war, we are tired of your dumb noise on Nairaland. |

Naijabad: Solidarity my foot. without fear of unknown, 70% of people would have been going to work. One of the principal stated it clearly " ... We don't want to risk the life of any student" , how is that a statement of solidarity? |

Then when will the children have a time to rest
To wash their clothes and do the house chores
And to be candid they will be giving them assignment
That is CRAZY
And soon they will be introducing it to many states... |

Re: Sit-At-Home: Private Schools Turn Saturdays To Working Days In Enugu by warlordd(m): 4:20pm On Oct 16, 2021 |
Very good move! Some mischievous workers who have secretly being supporting "monday sit at home" because they know they must be paid their full salary despite not working on mondays will not like this but I think Banks and other institutions should emulate this and covert their mondays to saturdays. People can't be collecting full salary when they've not worked for it. |
Re: Sit-At-Home: Private Schools Turn Saturdays To Working Days In Enugu by Yankee101: 4:22pm On Oct 16, 2021 |
I think schools are 8am to 1pm. After 1pm is private lessons which is optional Parents actually take advantage of this as daycare so they pick the kids up after work Extend classes by one extra hour to cover the extra day A standard school should provide lunch (heck even government schools do so today) and breaks in between periods This is better than taking an entire day off The teachers don't like this intrusion Some parents love it as a daycare But in reality the kids need 2 clear days for other out of class activities and to bond with their parents Angelfrost: |
