OP you're a government agent.

Because its not illegal bunkering that causes that soothe.

It's GAS FLARING
And guess who flares gas? Federal Government of Nigeria.

So essentially the wealth of this country that fuels the Nigerian Fulani hegemony comes at the cost of SE and SS lives and prosperity.

As usual the parasites will blame anything but themselves.

This thing doesn't happen in SE... maybe in few oil communities

It has become a daily norm
No one can use rainwater for any domestic purpose anymore.

The oily rainwater even killed my catfish fingerling that was exposed to it.

Gas flaring multiple by illegal bunkering equal to BLACK SOOTHE.

Please don't trivialise it. People are being hospitalised for this.

Lol, have you been to Ahoada recently, what of Omoku.
Don't say what you don't know, moreover flaring gas is mostly clean combustion these days except the power pack of the combustion chamber fails. This is as a result of incomplete combustion from bunkery activities and possibly failed combustion systems from nearby gas plants, but mostly bunkery from the Ahoda asix.
But am from omoku and I live there, and there is not that much of bunkery going on in omoku, now agip oil company usually increase the burning which when they do it releases more black smoke and when it rains you know what you get

After all these years, this is just sad

These guys really need a honest movement to fight for them. All these their movement leaders are more concerned abt sharing money and building mansions dn their people's health. Even their governor's/senators should be vocally addressing their problem the way Lagos politicians keep crying for 'special status'.

Who else noticed the very dark rainfall that occurred in certain parts of Rivers state today due to the consequences of illegal bunkering activities in the state.

Everything is not money , Federal and State government should treat bunkery activities as a case of urgency. We can't be suffering due to the activities of few miscreants, almost every one in PH treats malaria every two weeks.

This pictures were taken around two in the afternoon, but it looks like around six in the evening

Tell that OP to rise and take his destiny in his hands by demanding his rights, no he won't do that.

I have noticed that the bulk of oil producing areas are just contended with the fact that they are feeding others just as the north are simply happy the power is in the north even when they are swimming in the ocean of poor education , malnutrition and underdevelopment.

Are the oil producing communities interested in freedom, no rather they are shutting down dissent voices while the mallam in the north is shortchanging them.

Not like it can give, that's a serious oncogene they have there and a proactive government should already declare it an emergency.

It is worthwhile medics or researchers start looking at lung ca statistics in the area.

No OP is not an illiterate.
How much flaring is happening in refineries that are non-operational?
IT IS OIL BUNKERING ACTIVITIES THAT IS CAUSING THE BLACK SOOTH IN PHC
unless you want to continue lying to yourself, most Port Harcourt youths are involved in illegal bunkering and the adulterated products are freely sold in the form of Kerosine and kpofire diesel

Bunkery is not the only thing causing the black soot. Gas flaring also causes it and we have the govt to blame for that. The question is, since you are calling on the govt to clamp down on bunkery... Who will clamp down on the govt for flaring gas?

You think the govt has been trying to stop illegal bunkery because they care about ur environment?
gas doesn't produce dark smokes.
