You are right but Ebonyi was just created in 1996 compare to Abia created in 1991. Abia as we speak, Abia state house is still in rented apartment.
Abia, the home of the fraud, Nnamdi Kanu, another fraud Abaribe, they are still yet to complete the flyover they started in 2015 while Ebonyi state has completed over 6 flyovers under the same time.

The governor office is a rented apartment.

Chinedum Orji is the speaker of Abia state house of Assembly. And he is positioning himself as the governor of Abia state.

That old government house is not in a secure location. It also blocks attempts to expand that road. I was in Abakaliki for the first time in 1997. The transformation and population influx means that some structures have to give way or be repurposed.

Ogbaru is even the most industrialised city in SE not Onitsha.

If Aba was to be in Anambra in its current state, it won't be among top 8 cities in it.
