The highlighted shows that it's journalists that rephrased the man's speech. Literally the Bible is just like any other book but the difference is that's the only book people use to assemble people into one congregation, even weapons can't do that, weapons can only scare people to stay in a place by force but only the Bible has the POWER to make people gather together even when Covid19 is killing them.
So he himself who is using the Bible to gather people under one roof can't say wholeheartedly that there's no power in that book!

He's right actually, but there's nothing historic about it, as most of its content is filled with fictional rubbish, ranging from talking snakes, talking donkeys to talking bushes, and people flying into the sky.

There is indeed no power in the book itself as it is indeed just a book. Burn the pages and it will burn in much the same way any other book would and there isn't anything Holy about it since it was put together of the hands of men.
