It's sad and a shame that this is what the government has subjected its school children to. How can these innocent youngsters have the mindset to study in such an environment? And the irony of the whole issue is that they were singing the national anthem and a pledge, and the words of both are in total opposition to their circumstance. Your last paragraph is so apt. An oversight function by the Lagos state Ministry of Education is supposed to cover both public and private schools in the state to make sure that school children in the state are not learning in such deplorable conditions!
