I knew it. This building collapse wasn't ordinary. It was part of November sacrifice of the yoruba man. Imagine yoruba police preventing hausa Okada riders from rescuing trapped yoruba men and women? Ritualists in high places. These yoruba people should be banished from Lagos, always causing hovoc here and there.

Cc Oduduwa707, wiifesnatcher

Were you part of the hausa okada riders?
Who told you all the police men there were Yorubas?
Who told you all those trapped there were Yorubas?(didn't you read that Togolese too were there?)
If they banish Yorubas from Lagos, who owns Lagos in the first place? It's just like saying they should banish Igbos from Anambra. undecided

God look at the kind of unintelligent creature you made.
You must be a creation defect.

Is like ignorance is fully embedded in the DNA of Nigerians, a building collapse the whole area is very volatile with people trapped under rubbles, any wrong footing can crush the people under and one idiot wants to carry crowd and go there, Any untrained person there will definetly make matters worse for the people trapped under the rocks.

Nawa

Anywhere in the world the first thing the police do is to seal of the area and wait for rescue teams to do their work.

Infact I even commend the police for what they did, I am even surprise cause such professionalism is not something you see from Nigerian police

Kudos to them

But one thing is certain in Nigeria, in as much as it was the right thing to do at that moment by the police, now the question is how do Nigeria emergency teams respond to such emergency situations, how quick will they arrive at the scene? Are the swift and proactive? When you answer these questions then you will find out that more people will survive in the hands of readily awaiting volunteer helpers than waiting for eternity for Nigeria emergency workers that might be interested in finishing the eba and tuwo in their hand first before heading to the scene of the collapsed structure

Humans, always looking for whom to blame. Who rushes into a collapsed building not knowing what could happen next, you could be rushing to your death. What if the other buildings had collapsed afterwards?

Exactly what I was thinking. You don't just barge into a collapsed building of such magnitude and start rummaging through the rubble if you're not a trained professional. You might think you're helping but you're actually causing more damage. The police did well in this aspect

coolThe building suffered Wots called SUDDEN FAILURE! There are number of reasons for that. Building a sky riser in a place like Ikoyi, requires some delicate engineering. The water level beneath the building MUST be regulated for LIFE! Like sinking atleast 10 boreholes around the building and emptying these boreholes everyday till Jesus comes. Failure to account for ground water can cause the strongest building to collapse.

What do they teach these policemen at their recruitment exercise? It seems they derive joy from being stupid and insensitive.
Please we need to flush out illiterates from our police force. If you're a graduate and jobless please try applying for the force but have it in mind that those who would be your boss are the same illiterate currently in the system but try to enforce little change in your area, little by little we will fill the police force with sane minds and flush out these fools.

Your reasoning showed you aren't better than a stack illiterate.
