i have a project i'm working on, script was codded in php3 and my localhost runs php5 (xmapp 1.7.4).

How can i make the php3 codes execute without problems on my php5??

the script runs perfectly online on a godaddy server that's also php5. so if godaddy can do it, the i should be able to do same.

any ideas guys?

got it, and unfortunately threads cannot be deleted in this forum, and that sucks some times 

SOLUTION
Set the following parameters in your php.ini file:

register_globals = on
register_long_arrays = on
expose_php = off
variables_order = "EGPCS"

First of all read the scripts and translate to php5 using globals are a no-no,i can help change to php5.cuz the people had a reason from jumping from php3-php5 coding standards.
