If we all refuse to apply to any shitty organization we will starve but only for a short while because companies will be forced to review certain things. But accepting BS means you will starve in the long run. I think the problem here is Niggerians have no self worth, lazy, and extremely short sighted.

The country recently introduced a law that bans employers from contacting workers outside of their regular hours by phone, message or email.
"The employer must respect the privacy of the worker," including periods of rest and family time, the new law stipulates. Any violation, it continues, constitutes a "serious" offense and could result in a fine.
A similar rule gave French workers the right to ignore after-hours business emails in 2017.
Portugal's new policy is part of legislation that regulates working from home. Employees now have the right to opt-out of remote work should they so wish — but they can also request the arrangement if it's compatible with their job.
The measure also stipulates that employers are responsible for providing workers with the appropriate tools to do their jobs remotely. They should reimburse workers for any additional expenses, including any increase in bills such as electricity and gas, they might incur while working from home.

The law was passed by the Portuguese parliament last Friday and came into effect the following day.
Portugal has been led by a socialist government for six years, though Prime Minister Antonio Costa could be pushed out of power early next year. The country's president recently called a snap election for late January amid a standoff over the budget.
The capital, Lisbon, has worked hard to appeal to digital nomads who want to take advantage of remote work to temporarily relocate or travel outside their home country.
The practice became more common during the pandemic. Research firm Gartner estimates that remote workers will represent 32% of the global workforce by the end of 2021, compared to 17% in 2019.

I did the exact same thing. I just got a new phone and new sim card, migrated all the people who matter to me (family and friends) to the new sim, notified all of them and left the other number for the office, bank and general public.

During weekdays, the general public line goes off once I leave the office. On weekends it stays off until Monday.

Programmers,base station Engineers(Telecoms) do can get calls after working hours due to the nature of their work.

First day ,I picked and we spoke for one hour(same thing we spoke about was discussed in office earlier that day). After that day,I always ignore Her call but always put my data ON,if She has a message,She should chat me up and I will respond whenever I woke up to pee or in the morning.

After ignoring her on so many occasions and not calling back till in the morning,she stopped calling after working hours.

U need to codedly define boundaries at times.

Before I even started work I have always had multiple Sims and when I started and saw how they call unnecessarily u try to interchange sim always but I know the sim I will never remove from phone and only those that really matters know it, so when I am suppose to be home and I receive a call from work or I know the next day I will be ghosting myself from work, I give a complain of either having issues with my phone or light has been bad and ends up with a low battery, so when I get back, I just remind them of the earlier excuse and case closed.

Hmmm! This legislation is not possible in a country like ours...my own company bombard us us with emails and WhatsApp messages round the clock.
