Alary: Point of correction. Buhari is solely responsible for the revitalization of the railway industry. That solely started with OBJ and then it picked up during GEJ's administration that secured loans from China to build the Abuja- Kaduna and Warri-Itakpe Rail lines. Buhari met those project on ground and continued from where they left off. |

Honestly, the strike is justified, na the only thing wicked govt deh hear before they do what's necessary, the inflation in the country is unbearable, they don't have good welfare and allowance (didn't NIMC do same), they are a revenue generating federal agency and the salary of their staffs are so poor, even agencies that don't generate revenue earn way better (Haba), who dem offend, you want to run a quality standard sector like railway and you don't want to pay the staff well so that they can work at their best to benefit Nigerians (haba), it's just wickedness, if you hear what better countries pay their railway sector staffs na shame go catch us, FG should do the needful abeg, the railway staffs welfare should be looked into so that progress can be made, if you go to their district office in Abuja, they don't even have staff bus for transportation and don't have proper accomodations, the worst is the pay at the end of the month (it's really poor for a revenue generating agency), Onyinbo people have researched these things, workers are way more productive when happy(great welfare). FG should be wise before the only thing (railway sector) that people hail them for spoils. |

BIGDADDY000:350% of 30,000 Naira is just 105k, meaning the 350% increment for a train driver will still be less than 140k. How can someone be driving that locomotive daily for that meagre amount? 2 Likes |

⏩ Right from the era of Danfodio, Under any Fulani govt, if you are not Fulani, they take you as slaves. ❌❌❌❌❌❌ Continue to manage the slave wages until that Fulani ethno-jingoist in Aso Rock leaves in 1½ years time or The Almighty does the 'needfull' b4 then. ☹️☹️☹️ |
