1. Because it creates discrepancies in their financial architecture as the "controversial" holiday stands directly between "Christmas choppings" and their November cashout.

2. Because it's not among the occultic holiday we prefer to emulate from the ancient vikings like Sunday, moonday, Odin's day (Wednesday), Thor's day, yuletide (Christmas) and easter.

3. Because the average Nigerian who has from his/her government, gotten nothing more than N300 and 1bottle of palm oil doesn't have much to be thankful for.

4. Because it has no religious intonation, and anything other than workers day when lazy pot bellied Nigerians will sleep for the whole day is seen as 'strange' and heavily castigated.

Thank you.

Is Nigeria part of American territory?

Is Thanksgiving celebrated every where in the world? Why did you put up a post that's supposed to be informative but rather displays so much ignorance?

It's not a Christian festival or celebration.

We only copy Christian celebrations.

Even Halloween sef, only about 5% of Nigerians care to celebrate it. And it's mostly the elites.
