Abians prefer to collect rent from FG for personal houses. They don't want the secretariat.

Backward people.

What is d benefit of a federal secretariat?

Convinient excuse by Fashola.
There's no governor that will refuse to provide land for such a project. Not even the ones fighting the president. This is just a very convenient excuse by the small minded Fashola. He never wanted to put up such structure

Everything.... goverment/politics in that State is completely wrong and totally unworkable.
If political scientists can define a society where authority begins ends with the individual citizen or business entity, that is Abia.

He should find out the condition of other federal secretariat buildings in other states, I don't see any benefits for a state having a federal secretariat.

Silly Politicians.
Can u imagine that even the Abia State Government House is under rent?
After 30 years that the State was created, they have not deemed it right to build a State Owned Government House.
They are still paying someone rent on the place the government house is located.
F0ols.

Simple, federal workers in the state have a place to work that is conducive and the FG won't be paying rent. Saves costs on governance and improved productivity among civil servants.

Has d federal govt complained that it can no longer pay d rent for it's workers in abia state?

The places that federal workers are presently working in abia state, is it not conducive?

Which productivity does working in a federal secretariat improve? Are those working in federal secretariat more productive than those not working in federal secretariat?

When I asked "whats d benefit of a federal secretariat in d state", I meant what will d state gain by having a federal secretariat?

Ask the senator who wants to ensure it. Have you ever tried to apply for something from the FG and you have to go to Abuja instead of just visiting their secretariat in your state. It's like the FG parastatals close to you.

Did u ask d senator who wants to ensure it before u came up with your previous post as benefits of a federal secretariat in a state?

What is your complain about going to abuja? I thought u said that there are federal workers in abia state and that d federal govt is paying rent for their offices? Meanwhile
