So I'm presently at a phone Engineer shop trying to repair the screen of my wife's phone. This gentlemen walks in and complains of the voice assistant speaking all the time. Instantly I knew someone( maybe his kids) had tampered with the accessibility settings meant for blind people etc.

This engineer spoke out my thoughts to the man and charged him 2k.. I weak. The man pay o.. something wei no go take me 5 seconds...d man beg to 1k, this engineer no gree...the man pay the money... I just shook my head and dey laugh for my mind

If there's anything like judgement day, that's if the words found in the Bible happens to come to fulfilment, I bet your own judgement will be greater than that of the phone engineer...Ask me why?

I have no business with what the phone engineer charged the customer, in the eyes of Nigerians the phone engineer is right after all he's not running a charity organization and the Op is right to keep mum but Divine judgement cannot be applied using Nigerian street law of being smart, and because of that @ Op has the greater judgement.

Well, the engineer runs a business venture, not an NGO. The same man might be charging his clients, customers, or patients exorbitant fees. Cycle of life!

I had a laptop that has the WiFi networks button by the side of the laptop I didn't know it was switched off my laptop stopped showing or connecting to hotspot, I took it for repair and I paid 1k just to see the button by the side.

My nephew carelessly pressed the sleep button on the tv in our house.The screen went blank but the red power on button was showing when I switched on the tv.I tried all techniques to make it turned on but it didn't.So I took it to a tv repairer.He charged me #1500 and asked me to come back the next day.After repairing it I took it home.
As i was using the remote to search for channels.I mistakenly pressed the sleep button and the tv went blank but the red light power button was on.I pressed the sleep button again the tv screen came up.That was how I knew that nothing serious happened to my tv.

When I was doing my masters degree some years back, my laptop had fault. The screen went blank with constant beeping sound.. Went to a technician and they charged 5k. Weeks later, the same problem. Went again, they charged 5k again but bargained to 3k since I've been there before. I accused them of doing a bad job but they kept arguing I was the one that was rough handling the laptop. No problem , I paid and they fixed it. A month later, same problem but this time around I wasn't ready to spend another dime. After hours of research on YouTube, I dressed up, flagged a bike down and went to buy this multi screw driver set. Got back home and dismantled the laptop with the aid of YouTube. To my surprise, it was something petty I've been wasting money on lol. It was just a dislocated VLC wire from it's location. All you have to do is just fix it back into position and your laptop is as good as new..

Anyways, the worse of them are auto mechanics. Those ones will feed on your ignorance.

Something that is not up to 500 naira they will tell you 5k.

My laptop was not coming on, except you press the power button for a while. I took it to a technician, he told me to pay 6000 that he wanted to change a part, and I replied 4000 he was reluctant to do it on that prize. He just opened it and cleaned a certain part of the computer and the power button worked. I was watching him, he was confused. He knew he had messed up, letting me see what he had done. I ended up paying 1500.

But I will connect the phone to my laptop as if I'm using laptop to remove it.
Just press two buttons on your Android phone together to remove it.
I once charged a lady 3k to remove talk back from IPhone 5 around 2015. Just trippple tap the home button, that's all, but I connected the iPhone to my system for like one hour before giving her.

That was how one woman brought her iPhone 5 to where I was learning iPhone work back then, she complained of it being on silent and she felt it might be faulty, I sha helped her toggle the button beside, collect 1,500
