This is why you need to be very mindful about the foods you eat and habits that you portray on a regular basis. This is to make sure that they don't have any serious side effect on your heart health.

But a lot of people are still found of making the mistakes of eating the wrong foods that are generally found to be bad for the heart.

In this article, I will be talking about foods that are damaging your heart bit by bit.

1: Red meat - Red meat actually has a lot of benefits it gives to the body. This includes it's high level protein and other important minerals which benefit the body.
But when taken in excess will not be too good for your heart health, this is mostly attributed to the fact that some parts of red meat is high in saturated fats which are unhealthy for the body

2: soda - Soda whether diet soda or regular soda has a serious side effect in our heart health. This is mostly attributed to the fact that it is high in sugar which increases risk of diabetes and obesity, both are risk factors to different forms of heart diseases.

3: baked food - Baked Goods are easily available foods but they also has a lot of side effect to the body. This is because most baked goods are high in sugar, trans fats and saturated fat which are bad for our heart health in many ways

4: white rice and bread - White rice and bread has no important nutrient to add to the body rather they are high in calories and sugar which caused obesity, a risk factor to several cardiovascular diseases and diabetes

5: pizza - Pizza remains one of the most popular junk foods around the world especially ones that are bought. They are high in calories, Sodium and unhealthy fats, all of which combined has a negative effect on our heart health.
High intake of sodium could lead to high blood pressure while it's calories could lead to obesity, a risk factor to heart diseases.
