Why leave commercial banks that are giving loans at cut throat rates? In other countries interest rate is a single digit some close to zero. Here in Nigeria it is about 30%. This rate is what the loan sharks are leveraging upon. If the rate is reduced at commercial bank level every other similar business will adjust.
very on point

It's about time!

Imagine giving loans to pay back in 2weeks with 50% interest. That's not even a shark loan, that's a killer whale loan.
Lol. No be lie...

That is the only thing they are good at, shutdown this ,close down that. Without looking at the root cause, before the inception of this government, Nigerians are not familiar with loan companies, today the reverse is the case ,yet you are not seeing any reason to blame yourself? they said necessity is the mother of invention.
This government really enjoy seeing the poor masses suffer

But nobody forced you to collect the loan.
You went to play store, same you downloaded the app, same you signed up, same you requested the loan and granted permission to your contact and same you agreed to 50% interest in 2weeks.

They are just doing business, stay away if you don't like the way they do business

Now small loans - una wan shutdown

Subsidy - una don already shutdown for una mind. E remain february 2022 to come.

How do you expect the economy to grow. This is one of the reasons why i may support Tinubu. He believes in free flow of money and he'll remove all this stupid fulani greedy bans.

You can never stop humans from borrowing. US citizens enjoy the best welfare packages but still highest borrowers in the world. To the extent that the country is has the highest debt ever. Borrowing is addictive and is more dangerous when loans are readily accessible.

Don't worry, we will do it illegally, if you need to borrow money, just pm me.

I can finance you up to a trillion dollars, but with a 95% interest rate (being considerate actually) and the longest loan term is 3 months, else you will spend the rest of your life working for me (I don't care if you die tomorrow after you start working, it's my money, my law).

If you agree to this term, just mention me. kiss

They are not shutting down all, only those that don't meet regulatory permission. Any idiot can now create and upload a loan app to collect peoples credit card details to wipe their accounts.

It's Nigerians that would complain eventually.

A lot of people are too irresponsible and dishonourable.

They NEVER keep to the terms & conditions.

Borrowing is easy for them...hard to pay back.
