Excellent results wherever achieved is largely due to a student's resolve & motivation NOT necessarily a school.

If schools really 'make' a child, why don't they (schools) take responsibility for failures too? )The glory shouldn't exclude the blames.

The government isn't responsible or should it use tax payers funds to provide infrastructure to make those schools more attractive.

The government provides public services and if the schools are within the location of those services, the schools should take advantage of that and become more attractive by their own actions. If government gets involved directly and personally, then we should be worried. There are public schools across the 3 levels in that location that the government needs to make more attractive.

That's how public governance works. Anything like you describe it is misappropriation of public funds. That's the bane of underdevelopment in Nigeria.

Most of those private uni students drop out in their year 3 and 4 to start afresh in UI, UNILAG, OAU and other top federal schools like that.. when they don't do anything than spoon-feed the 'adult babies', no brain tasks, no fun, nothing.. living like slaves in a slave camp.

Any school without College of medicine shouldn't be recognized as part of top 20 universities in Nigeria. Just be offering yeye courses and be dishing out first class to students that'll fumble when you put them to mental test.

The boy made the list of top 10 JAMB students this year.
