Urges Younger Nigerians To Support An Osinbajo, Zulum Ticket

ABUJA – Following his declaration of intent to contest the 2023 Presidential election, a group, Northern Conscience 4’ 2023 (NC4’2023) on Thursday in Abuja cautioned for former Lagos State governor and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu, to allow younger candidate a shot at the post.

Speaking to journalists, the National Coordinator of the group, Dr Garus Gololo, described Tinubu as a father of the governing APC “who with his age, should maintain his position as a party leader whose focus should be to groom the younger ones.”

According to him, while it is the right of bonafide members of the APC to seek to contest the presidential election on the party’s platform, it is, however “not good for a lion to fall down. But when it runs into an Elephant, it is most likely to drop.”

The NC4’2023 disclosed that results of a nationwide consultation conducted among party stakeholders revealed the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and the Borno State Governor, Professor Umar Zulum, as preferred choices for the party’s presidential and vice presidential candidates, respectively.

Gololo also disclosed that Osinbajo “has so far demonstrated loyalty and humility as the Vice President, thereby making the executive rancour-free.

He also has displayed immense capacity in handling the economy especially, considering his role and contributions as Chairman of the National Economic Council.”

While insisting that he does not have a close relationship with both men, Gololo further urged younger Nigerians with proven capacity to join in the move to ensure a professor and professor presidency In 2023.

This he hoped will bring about infrastructural and economic development for the country, while placing Nigeria on the path of pairing up with the rest of the 21st-century world.

With Osinbajo zulum running, APC would be declared winner by 12 noon irrespective of who PDP give the ticket.

As an opposition, I would rather APC gives the ticket to Jagaban. He get why. If u know u know.

To me oo, tinubu presidential ambition is aim at blocking APC chances of winning 2023 election because tinubu will never win general election if he eventually get APC ticket.
My advice for tinubu is to support he preferred candidate for president and may be bring out his son for governor of Lagos state because that one na his personal property.

I personerly, love the idea of Osinbajo/Zulum ticket, but badmouthing Tinubu by some people is what still baffles me.

Na Osinbajo we know.Apc should not make that mistake to give Tinubu the ticket.Tinubu does not even have shame at all.

These two would be the best decision Nigerian will ever make since return to democracy. From their antecedents they have shown that they are capable of leadership. Osibanjo in just a couple of weeks as acting president, we all saw the tangible impact he made, Zulum a grassroot politician who has his people at heart, despite being a victim of several terrorist attack while going to see his people this never deterred him from going about his duty and meeting with his people. As a poster said above if they are chosen by APC as flag bearers, they will be declared winner before 12pm.

Who wan vote for tinubu before? Osinbajo,Zulu or peter obi any day any time..
No sane Nigeria will vote for ole like tinubu and Orji kalu

Tinubu and his halluluya boy's will be disappointed with this statement, but Osinbajo is the lesser evil, i don't think known is going to get the ticket my opinion.

If the APC by some miracle present this ticket, they will be declared winners by Nigerians even before a vote is cast.

But, sense no too dey our political parties.
