In the UK, you can get a free test but you can't use that to travel. You have to pay for another test for the same test before the airlines will accept it. Talking about fraud. In Greece it's about 150 dollars while in Turkey I paid very little. Every country with their own.

If you have symptoms and use the ncdc portal, you can book a free covid test in Nigeria. If you have to travel and require a PCR test, you have to pay for it almost everywhere in the world. Testing to go into stadia in Cameroon is already covered by the Cameroon govt as part of its hosting responsibilities. Most countries require negative PCR test results before flying or coming in. That costs money. If other forms of testing are required, it can be cheaper.

God help this country.

In the US, the test is free whether you have insurance or not..
But most countries do charge even more than Nigeria.
More countries are exploiting their people with these covid tests and other covid related issues way more than most Nigerians are paying.
The US govt made me pay 2200 dollars just for a one way ticket from Lagos to Washington DC on Ethiopian airlines in 2020. I had to pay upfront. Even though my final destination is not DC.
The Nigerian govt on the other hand was bringing Nigerians back home for way less . And most Nigerians were saying then that all countries were evacuating their people for free. Total lie. The UK was even worse.

I did my tests at a pharmacy...prior to getting vaccinated, I got tested there daily for 44 days stretch without getting charged a penny.

Firstly, private laboratories are the one charging 50,400 to get the test done. It is free in public laboratories if you're using it for public health purposes and not for travelling. I am very sure it is 100% free in Oyo State.

Secondly, for the result to come out in 10minutes. It is definitely RDT(Rapid Diagnostic Test), which is free in Nigeria too.
