Kobojunkie: And you are not aware that, down the line like 10 years ago, even if heaven and earth wants to fall he kumuyi can never invite someone like Don moon or Nathaniel who practices his gospel music with drums which is a taboo in deeper life to be invited in their congregation to minister. |

A rotten tree cannot produce fine fruit. Matthew 7:16-18 It might initially put up a facade but in the end, what is hidden will come to light Mark 4:22 |

The man is saying the truth but 21st century youths will tag him as an extremist. If you wanna dance and party go to the club. Church is meant for teaching the word of God. I’m Muslim and I don’t condone any form of worldly things into religion. Why can’t man stick to the teachings and way of life of the prophets in the Bible and Quran? Can’t believe Pastor Kumuyi going off the rail coz Deeper life is one of the Christian churches I respect as a Muslim. 1 Like |

"Pastor Kumuyi was the one that taught us all we know about modesty and holiness, so we are surprised that our teacher is changing direction and he is inviting international Gospel rock stars and local musicians that are not advocates of modesty to come and sing at deeper life." What kind of modesty are you talking about? Because There are two types of modesty: physical modesty and spiritual modesty. Physical modesty is all about the way you dress and appear physically. Physical modesty does not take you to heaven. What takes you to heaven is your spiritual modesty, The righteousness of your mind. People have used physical modesty (like not wearing earrings, not fixing artificial hairs etc) as a doctrine in church to deceive and eliminate people who are hungry for God's presence. An example is the case of Credonia Mwerinde of the Movement for Restoration of the Ten commandments in Uganda who ended up killing almost a thousand of her church member. Spiritual modesty in our life, music we hear and our life style is what matters and not the type of song ( rock, hymn,r&b), who sang the song (European composer, nat Bassey, don Moen) and the age of a song( old or new). 2 Likes 1 Share |

Sammerboi: Let the word of God enlighten you. "And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod." 2 Samuel 6:14 Another one, " And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances."Exodus 15:20 1 Like 1 Share |

AABBIIMM: I tire oh! You know the problem i see with many of these Pharisees is Poverty of the mind spiritually and financially. If some of them get exposed at least 5% of the travels that Kumuyi has been on. They would understand that the Kingdom of Heaven is for all who worship Christ in truth and Spirit and not just for your own denomination. |

TechSpecialist: They hissed because people who glorified God but not in their denomination sang and you all are surprised why Satan is gaining ground in the lives of the youth for himself while the supposed children of light just like the 5 foolish virgins are so foolish and undiscerning that they practically hate those whom God is using in a modern way to worship and draw many to HIM. They instead want to follow tradition by signing only ancient hymns (I have nothing against Hymns. I love to sing them) but there should be a balance. In all we do if the intent is praising the true God then Don Meon, Nathaniel Bassey, etcetera are not condemned. Do you know how many souls God has reached through their songs of praise unto HIM. I personally sometimes when I am down. I just open my phone and play their songs of worship to God connecting my phone to my audio speaker and listen and before you know it. The presence of God will come down and I will start speaking/praying to my Heavenly Father and digging into HIS word. The devil is a trickster and knows how to put these Pharisees in front to stumble the faith of many weak breathen who are unable to discern between legalistic fruitless worship and the true worship of the Father. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Rawtruth1:You members of the 80's are everything wrong with deeperlife. You guys always resist change and ur motto is Remove not the old landmark. You guys don't care about bringing the new generation of youth into the fold and how the world is evolving. In this last days the church is supposed to take charge and draw souls to the kingdom. I was born and brought up in deeperlife but I am currently in winners. All my siblings no longer attend deeperlife but we are all doing well spiritually. I left because I wasn't growing spiritually as I found alot of the things they do boring. If the church had half of d flexibility he has currently now I would still be there working to expand God's kingdom. Baba Kumuyi will soon join the Lord and if he left the church in the hands of ur like without making drastic changes deeper life will go the way of Faith Terbanacle, CAC Qua Iboe church and the likes. All the years of labouring would have gone down the drain. Baba has seen the future and u old members need to smell the coffee. It's the last days and the church of GOD must grow stronger until christ comes. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Rubbish protest... The actual protest should be "arresting kumuyi", that man has confused millions of people with his personalized ideology saying it's God that asked him to do so... TV is satan box... Satan didn't even do up to what Kumuyi has done... |
Re: Prince Dele Banjo Protests At Deeper Life Headquarters Over Unconventional Music by RussellRutherfo: 2:09pm On Jan 23, 2022 |
sugarsoul: I agree with you. Anyone that agrees with that pharisee protester is a big time Satanist. Satan through these blind vessels in the Church distract people from the main goal and love to divide the kingdom of God. |

Thinktwicemybro: The old Deeper life is beginning to look to me like some of these cults like Jehovah witness organization. They love to hate on those who sing songs to glorify the true God but in their privates. If you see the way all these Jehovah witnesses and Deeper life will be blasting secular songs by Davido, wizkid, etcetera. You self go fear. It is a tactic of the devil to work through them to make others hate the true worship of God because the person doesn't sing their denominational songs and thus make many youngsters glorify Satan instead. |

xeju: Pls don't twist the scriptures. People perish for lack of knowledge. Church doctrines are purely based on societal practice and denominational culture. Nothing like holy spirit inspired. God is the same yesterday today and forever. His rules and ordinance are forever. They never change. There was a time deeper life banned television, now there's no deeper life home without TV. One will think their women will never wear trouser. Yet their women in western countries wear trousers to church. Any rule that adjust to modern times or reality is not GOD's law but man made. |
