This issue of somebody "made" someone needs to be addressed.

It's common among many writers in recent time to always attribute divinity to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed an Alpha & Omega who "made" every know politician in Yoruba land today.

Let not forget that some people also made Asiwaju Bola Ahmed & he equally stab many (if not all) at the back. In 1998, when Asiwaju came back from his self imposed political asylum, he had no single political structure to win a local government election in Lagos State (not minding how he was elected to the Senate in 1992/3). It was the Afenifere group led by Baba Abraham Adesanya & Chief Bola Ige who fought tooth & nail to impose Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the AD candidate in January 1999 governorship election.
The Afenifere had threatened Eng. Funsho Williams to surrender his mandate (he won the primary & defeated Tinubu three times) & declare his support for Bola Tinubu.

During the election campaign between Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dapo Sarumi, both Baba Abraham Adesanya & Chief Bola Ige practically left Ijebu Igbo and Ibadan respectively to lead the campaign for Tinubu in Lagos, while Eng. Funsho Williams provided the financial muscles and marshal his unity group led by Kemi Nelson & others to ensure Tinubu's victory at the poll.

What happened after he became the governor of Lagos is known to all. Among which was his betrayer of Chief Bola Ige in his aspiration for the presidency of Nigeria (the event at De Rovans Hotel in Ibadan is well recorded).
He also made sure he used his influence as the governor to muscle & destroy the Afenifere group; abuse Baba Abraham opening & remove his deputy Akerele Buknor who was a staunch member of Afenifere.

Bola Tinubu also dealt with Funsho Williams, he made sure cornered the loyalty of his (Funsho"s loyalists) & completely sidelined & ostracized him.

If talk about betrayer today, I wonder which betrayer can be more than the ones above. There are many of such betrayals from Tinubu but it's better to let it be to give peace a chance. The above is only stated in order to keep the record straight and caution those who are brandishing any opposition to Bola Tinubu as betrayers and ungrateful.

It's God that made man! No human, no matter who or what he is claim that attribute.

It was simply a function of political permutations of the northerners within the PDP who did not want GEJ to proceed beyond 2015. GEJ’s ambition caused the northerners to search for alternatives. Powerful northern politicians in the PDP joined the CPC with popularity in 13 northern states and ACN with 3 states to decapitate the PDP in 2015 and hand power over the the newly formed APC.

Politics is about power and ambitions. The rallying point of APC is PMB. He will be out of power in 2023. Looking at the man, do you think he has the power to campaign anymore? Do you think he will support BAT?

The battle to take power in 2023 has commenced in earnest. Expect politicians to align and realign. APC looks like a party that will disintegrate before 2023. PDP has the biggest platform. Politicians will drift towards the PDP as APC starts its free fall from their convention.

I fear the North!
