My journey as single mum – Actress Iyabo Ojo - “This year, I began my adventure as a single mother with no direction,” she wrote. I was terrified, sometimes depressed, confused, and anxious all of the time.

“I felt like a loser and a failure.” I didn’t feel good enough, I didn’t feel small, and I didn’t know where to begin.

“How was I even going to pull through? I never imagined myself succeeding in life. My ultimate goal was to ensure that my children were safe.

“All I knew was to love my children unconditionally and give them everything I had, and that motivated me to keep going.”
