LAGOS – Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has received goodwill and assurances of support from influential elders and professionals of Edo North, notably the mother of former Edo Governor Adams Oshiomhole, Hajia Aishietu, for his dutiful service to the country, loyalty to the President, and for honoring the people of Edo North.

She offered the prayers and goodwill in Edo North where the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba was honored with a title as the “Lion of Auchi Kingdom” by the Otaru of Auchi, Alhaji Aliru Momoh.

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo was at the event as the special guest of honor and he spoke glowingly of the contributions of Prince Clem Agba to the Buhari administration, as well as the beautiful cultural heritage of the Auchi people which was on display.

Elders and professionals of Edo North regarded the Vice President’s presence as a further demonstration of his love for the people of Edo North and display of his progressive politics focused on harnessing the collective strength of the Nigerian people for inclusive growth and development.

They assured him of their support as he continues to work for the betterment of Nigeria and her people.

Other senior members of the administration present at the event include the Finance Minister Mrs Zainab Ahmed, Transport Minister Rotimi Ameachi, and others.

Deputy Governor of Edo State Philip Shaibu was also there to witness the title conferment ceremony, alongside other present and past serving senators. The Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) was also represented at the event.

Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the former Governor under whose administration Prince Clem Agba embarked on an urban renewal project that transformed Edo State and significantly upgraded its public infrastructure, was also at the event as a special guest.

Foreign ambassadors and leaders of the Oil and Gas sector, particularly Chevron, also graced the event to honor Prince Clem Agba.

Seriously, osinbajo is the best candidate for APC to contest against PDP. Tinubu is not loved by south south and south east. But osinbajo won't have such problem

no where they quote that they are supporting him for 2023, they are only appreciating him for his roles as vice president

Tinubu is just like the Biblical Jonathan, he'd be sacrificed for David (Osinbajo) to become Nigeria's next president.

The VP is political influence is waxing strong day by day and it is scary and wonderful at the same time.
More loads of expectations when you have larger proportion of Nigerians behind you.

Any of them that gets the ticket will win. Tinubu may not be loved in the SE/SS but in the north he will do well. To me both are good to go.

We know say Osibanjo is more capable than Tinubu, but if i have my way, neither APC nor PDP will smell that presidential seat.

Prof is getting the much needed support he deserves from all quarters. I want him as flag bearer for the APC.

Used and dumped one thing with Tinubu u only do his bidding. Oshobaba did is own bidding by installing hope as the governor of imo Tinubu left him out in the cold when trouble came. It was him who helped Tinubu remove Ambode with the ridiculous direct primaries in Lagos. Well I am happy ppl are seeing if u don't do these politicians bidding u are no use for them. Let prof be the candidate of the APC unless Tinubu would blur the line between good and evil. At least in Buhari tenure the line is clear and distinct.

Everybody has a past including your present governor...for the fact that oshibajo was a mere commissioner doesn't deny the fact that he is the Vice President of your fatherland...and he will eventually become the president by the grace of God.
