Prinzey, i will advice u like my broda. There is no connection in uniben post utme. Wat uniben do is to consider their staff children that apply on d note of their children bearing the same name. In term of other person, whether is professor or senior lecturer can help. What i mean is only their staff they can help. It is the overall score in your department that is wat they will use to admit. It is the highest scores they will use to admit. Dont allow anybody to deceive u to bring money to help u, they are all scammers. It is only that can help u. We are in the same school of basic medical sciences which in medical laboratory science, medical biochemistry, Anatomy, physiology and nursing science. I am in medical laboratory science. Any other questions just let me know because i like to see u in uniben.

It is only their staff children they can help.

@UNIGRAD,THANKS FOR THE INFO BUT i myself is an opt student in uniben @ higher level than my bro.this is not my 1st time of writing pume in uniben.about 6 of my former coursemates are in medicine @ diff levels and 4 others was among those posted to other course last yr.i also hav friends in physio and ur course(100L. my point is it was 2 set of 400L waiting 4 pathology and pharm exams and 2 set of 300L waiting mbbs.and no 500L last yr. THIS YEAR ,the higher 400L has writin thier exam and the higher 300L just wrote their mb.there is nothing like two 100Level. even the 600 has written their exam. ABOUT MY BRO NOT PROMOTED IS FUNNY TO ME because HE IS JACKIN GUYTON,LIPPINCOTT,O LUCAS AND GILLS,STEDMAN ETC FOR HIS MB.

Geminie, i am in that department. Your chance of gaining admission is somehow high but u need to do well in post utme because d course is a competative course, what i mean is about 350 and above candidate will write d exam, uniben will only admit 67-70. They will consider d highest scorers. Study, u will make it. Dont be afraid. The calculation is jamb score divide by 8 while post jamb divide by 2. The total results is your post utme score that will guarantee your admission. I have paste my facebook username in case if u have any questions to ask. Goodluck.

microbiology is one of lowly competitive course in science in fact many people denied medicine are dumped in MCB,BCH and others. YOUR SWIFT ANSWER

Well for those seeking admission into uniben. You must study hard. Uniben does not release cut off marks so you'll never know what individual cut off marks was used in admitting students into various departments. But one thing i noticed was that last year, most people scoring 50 and above were giving admission though i'm not saying that all those who scored 50 and above were giving admission. So the main thing is that you must study hard to get a high mark which will mean high chance of getting admitted and getting the course you want especially if you're aiming for those courses which are very popular like Law, Medicine, engineering e.t.c. In your post UME Result you'll see your screening score and then the final UTME + Screening score. I got 255 in Jamb and all they added to my screening score to make up my UTME + screening score was 11 so i don't really know how they calculate it. For those looking for past questions. It won't kill you to come down to the school and get Them for yourself afterall isn't it your own admission you're fighting for? Uniben repeats past questions alot so just don't slack in your studying and study past questions and no doubt you'll get your admission. if you're aiming for those courses which are very popular like Law, Medicine, engineering e.t.c.
