The fool even went ahead to quote 2 Timothy 3: 16 which states that the Bible is for doctrine, instructions, reproof and corrections. This clearly shows that the Bible was meant to build up a man morally and to make him a better human being.

All this explanation is one piece first telling you he created light and how evening came about.

Having seen Evening and morning, the moon and the sun are just an internal explanation to what control the morning and night
